Was in Harrisonburg for the weekend. Dropped in looking for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches we all got were delicious. The service was lovely. I liked the casual, student environment, which I miss now that I’m a full grown adult decades out of college. :) If I’m ever in Harrisonburg again, I’d go back.

Worst customer service ever. Very rude manager. Will not last too long if they don’t start treating customers with respect. Will not go there again.

This place served its purpose for a very light lunch. My husband and I split a grilled cheese and a tuxedo brownie. We both had hot tea. The sandwich was pretty tasteless, the brownie was alright but the icing tasted like that kind that comes in a can. I would go to Panera next time for better sandwiches and larger portions.

Good breakfast sandwiches, epically the California. Would rather eat here any day than a panera bread!

Great find! We got the 6am sandwhich which was really flavorful and filling. The breakfast burrito was on the plan side(probably the healthier option?). but the cinnamon roll was amazing! The staff are super friendly and helpfull. Overall a great quick breakfast.

Great sandwich! Stopped here based on Unilocal reviews while we were in town. Highly recommend the Turkey Club.

Cinnamon Bear is one of my favorite places in Harrisonburg! The soups, sandwiches, & staff are all fantastic & keep me coming back. Lobster bisque is so hard to find around here so when I heard cinnamon bear had it, I had to get a cup. So glad I did!

A cute local place that makes a effort to be a part of the community and bring fresh baked goods and cleverly made sandwiches into the mix of a busy college town. Worth a stop for a relaxing morning coffee and cinnamon roll or a lunchtime favorite. New owners really re vamped the place and it shows. Best buns in town! :)

Delicious cinnamon rolls & breakfast sandwiches. Although the bagel was fresh they were extremely stingy with the cream cheese — couldn’t even taste it.

Excellent warm chicken melt on croissant. Lots of good choices. Quiet casual atmosphere, friendly staff. Quiches and bakery items looked good – next time! Worth the short drive off I-81 for a lunch stop.

I LOVE this place. Still probably my favorite sandwich place. When you go, you have to order the Matt’s Club. It a delicious club sandwich with chicken breast and turkey, tomato, lettuce, and chipotle mayo. Something about this sandwich makes it much better than I would expect. The best things about this place has to be the people. THe owners are the sweetest married couple. They work hard to make everything perfect and will always take the time to have a nice conversation with you. Sometimes they will have something freshly baked and will give out samples. It’s very tough to take the samples because every time they are delicious and you want to buy everything. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is simply wonderful!

Cinnamon Bear flies under the radar for a great little shop and brunch eatery. My girlfriends and I stopped here in Harrisonburg as a reunion after we attempted to eat at Little Grille downtown– not worth the wait. So, we all ordered breakfast wraps and cinnamon rolls for about $ 8. The food itself was a great deal– I believe I ordered the California wrap, because it featured peppers and avocado. Delicious. The cinnamon bun was warmed and delicious, and they served us their home made cinnamon chips with the meal. The only drawback was the timeliness. Their staff seems to get overworked by only a few orders. It took way longer than it should have but the friendliness of the staff and the quality/price of the food would make us return(just not starving).

I went here for the first and was expecting 5 stars. We waited 35 minutes for two wraps that had little to no flavor. Everyone around us were waiting just as long and it wasn’t even that packed.

Salted caramel mocha was pure sugar. Carrot cake was pretty tasteless and seemed to have more lemon in it than carrot. $ 8 for a small coffee and square of cake is equivalent to Starbucks prices. At least the employees were nice. That was about it. Also my friends hot apple cider was decent.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. I appreciate that they let me sub bacon instead of the ham that the breakfast burrito normally comes with. The breakfast burrito was filled with egg, cheese, tomato, grilled onions and of course the bacon I requested. Simply delicious. Hubby got the 6AM on an everything bagel. He loved it. We could easily have split his and next time we will. It’s a biggie lol We got our food to go but there is plenty of space for 15 – 20 people to sit in and enjoy their food. Service was great and efficient. We will be back, next time for lunch!

Cinnamon Bear has delicious sandwiches and desserts… wraps, croissants, salads. I’ve yet to be disappointed. My husband and I stop here for lunch on our 81 road trips and pray it’s open whenever we pass through. My only complaint is that they don’t have any cinnamon bears. I love gummy cinnamon bears, so the name was a bit of a letdown for me(as incredibly silly as it sounds!).

Got #15 Pennie Annie & an apple cider. Absolutely delicious. They have pretty good customer service as well :) I haven’t tried their dessert yet, but it looked amazing.

Went there at around 10 am on a Thursday morning and the place was empty. We got served right away and it took a little bit of wait for us to get our food but for a good reason: it was made on the spot. We had the breakfast wrap which was very good but lacked a little bit of salt and pepper. We also had the spicy basil chicken wrap which was delicious, a good balance of spiciness and herbiness(if that was a word). Friendly service. #sbroadtrip2013
