very tasty beer and the atmosphere can not be beat. Where else can you relax on a sofa, watching a football game, while your toddler runs around. It’s like they put a bar in my house… well, a nicer looking house.

Exploring Harrisonburg while on vacation and found Pale Fire by accident. Good service. Tasty brews. The Barefoot Bucha was outstanding! Appealing industrial interior. Glass doors were open to the outdoor seating. Having the fresh summer air was a bonus. No kitchen, but bringing your own munchies is not a problem as several locals were enjoying dinner in this manner. Staffed appropriately for the busy evening.

This local brewery has its own television, WiFi, and library. The seating choices include bar, high table, sofa, and patio. The beer is very unique. For the most far-out flavor, I recommend the Lucille. For a pleasant brew on a hot day, definitely try the Saving Grace. Service is great and you hardly mind the lack of food menu with Pure Eats just down the walk.

Good beer, nice taproom, fun events, reasonable prices, and it’s less noisy than Three Notch’d. Smokin’ Scottish is my favorite brew, but Village Green is also a very nice double IPA that isn’t too punchy.

Great atmosphere both indoor and on the patio. We were able to relax and enjoy some drinks.
