Riverside Grocery is one of my favorite places on Lake St Clair! It has deep water, no height restrictions, and e-​free gas to keep us boaters running on the water. The canal can be entered from either end, and the north entrance could accommodate a big yacht (60′?) with a good captain. Gas only though.
So now you’re there safe, and get to the best parts… THE BOAT KNOTS AND COFFEE! The new owner resurrected the same recipes RG has had for years, and serve the best garlic knots in the Detroit area. This, with the addition of an amazing espresso machine, and Christian the barista, means your living large whether you’re hungry or thirsty. Very busy on boating weekends, and very island relaxed at other times. Give it a shot and you’ll be coming back for years
