Very nice budget motel. Did not like the fact that there is no elevator to the upstairs. Staff was mildly friendly. Room was very nice, clean, well appointed with comfortable sheets. Bed comfortable. Room in good repair. Breakfast was busy and average. Too bad they can’t can the beautiful sunset they had that night but I could see from my room. It was awesome.

Nice budget hotel. The Comfort Inn is clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Sure, It’s nothing fancy, but the mattresses are comfortable and there is absolutely no «ick» factor here. Highly recommended.

A nice option to the overpriced rooms in Silver Lake. We went in the Jeep for the sand dunes and this is the first time we didn’t stay at Silver Lake itself. This motel is just 10 minutes W from Silver Lake. My wife works in the high end hotel business, so we understand what a Comfort Suites is supposed to be, and it was quite acceptable. The rooms were spotless and the staff was very eager to please. We had a couple of minor(and understandable) mechanical issues and they resolved them immediately. The hot tub and the pool sure made the rough day bouncing around on the sand dunes disappear. There is a grocery store right next door and a Subway and McD within a short walk. Otherwise, Hart Michigan is not likely to be soon visited by the Food Channel, just a step better than the dismal offerings of silver Lake itself. But Pentwater is a ten minute trip North and there are a lot of nice restaurants of every level and variety. The breakfast was the typical Comfort Suites deal and is always nice when you have a few groggy friends who operate on variable time zones when you say«I’ll meet you for breakfast at 0900». It’s convenient, and again– for Hart, it’s either this or the fast food places as mentioned above. After years of getting absolutely ripped off by the 3 overpriced motels in Silver Lake(where they have one similar in style to this Comfort Suite and two 1950’s fleabags), this is a very nice alternative. We’ll use it again.

Given an assignment in the middle of nowhere was not promising. Trying to find a decent place to stay in Hart, Michigan was one of those Mission Impossible type deals. I was faced with taking a chance with some low cost flop in the Hart area, or having to stay somewhere in Grand Rapids and commuting for an hour. I choose the dangerous path and decided to stay at Comfort Inn. At first, my testicles wanted to crawl back into my body cavity. This joint has no style whatsoever. There are some feeble attempts such as a high ceiling lounge area or a plush recliner in the room, but this is a Hotel 6 with lipstick folks. Bathrooms are big and bare, rooms lack any style or décor, furniture, while clean, was pretty nicked up. After a half hour or so the positives started to come out, they got this huge ass pool area which wasn’t bad at all, beds were comfortable enough, they have wifi and a flat screen TV with a few watchable channels, offensive odors like B.O. curry or copulation pheremones are kept to a miniumum. Breakfast bar was kinda weak but for 55 bucks a night, acceptable. Not a bad place if you’re on the road and need a flop. I’ve stayed at worse.
