Golden Nozzle Full Serve Car Wash

I’ve always had a really good experience here. It’s full service, they do a great job vacuuming, washing and drying your car. Once, they sent my car through twice to get the dirt off. I’ve had my car detailed here as well (express detailing). Very nice employees, always seem very trustworthy. I don’t go anywhere else.

I am extremely picky about how clean my car is. Golden Nozzle, Kane Street, Hartford, goes the extra mile to make sure that my car is as clean as it gets. One feature I specifically like is if a car comes through the wash still dirty — they just wash it again. Customer service in a solid team atmosphere where excellence and attention to detail is job 1. I have had my car detailed here and their detail team really knows their stuff, different waxes, making sure everything is perfect before you leave — you just do not see such attention to detail in today’s banal world. Great work GOLDEN NOZZLE — keep up the fine work.

Went here twice as it seemed like the most reasonable full service car wash in the area. Prices are high, and the work doesn’t equal what you pay. I left with windows still streaky and surfaces still dusty and dirty. Oh, and whoever cleaned the inside of my car also helped his or herself to all of my change (they did leave the pennies for me, though.) Definitely go somewhere else.

This is a great place to go if you like spending almost $ 30.00 and driving away with a dirty car. I noticed my dash was still all dusty and had to ask one of the guys to get back in and clean it. He still didn’t clean it completely, I had fingerprints on my windshield, and various bird waste remnants throughout the exterior. They upsold me to something with an air freshener, but failed to put it in my car. The cashier inside was professional, the rest of the experience was horrible. Never again. I was going to call and complain, but I don’t even want to go back here for a free wash.

I have been coming here for years. It is the only car wash I know where, when I leave, I know my car will be clean. I always get the Wheels and Shine package which is $ 22. They clean inside and out including vacuuming, windows, wheels and hand dry. The staff are always courteous.

I will start by saying that this is my first time getting a car detailed, so I cannot really compare it to any other auto detailing service. So, why am I giving this place four stars? Glad you finally asked…
For one, they are open on the weekends, while others are closed. From the moment I arrived, the staff dealt with my unknowledgeable self and took the time to answer all of my questions about their service, the process, and the different packages, and that took about 5 minutes or so. They were extremely friendly and courteous! I finally settled on a full express detail — tires, interior, and exterior. I paid $ 150 for the whole thing.
I left my car and they told me that I could wait or they could give me a call when they finish. I decided to run errands while my car was being worked on, and they called me about 1.5 hours later telling me it was all ready.
I came back and took a look at the car and I was impressed! The exterior shinned and the interior looked fantastic! I should have taken «before and after» pictures, because the interior am exterior all had the proof of a bad winter… after, it looked like new! They didn’t miss a spot and took every effort to make sure they did a fantastic job.
I would definitely come back the next time I need my car washed or detailed. I like this place.
