My wife and kids and I had a great time zipping over the Pigeon River yesterday. Our guides Michael and Eric were entertaining and professional. We have ziplined quite a few times, and this was one of the best we have been on. We especially enjoyed the platform suspended from the cliff and the mega zip at the end of the tour. I’d highly recommend this tour!

I purchased this tour via Groupon and selected the location due to its close proximity to Gatlinburg. This was a first for my 19 yr old daughter and I. The guides were very efficient at instructing the group on how to gear up and they ensured we were all snuggly strapped in. After a few practice zips we zipped across the river. There were a lot of steep stairs to climb up the mountain side to reach the first platform so be prepared! After resting a moment while the rest of the group caught up, we navigated two at a time over several rope bridges, then the adventure through the tree tops began! The grand finale was a 1,200 zip down the mountain and over the river, wow what a rush! Since this was our first zip line I have no other tours to compare it too, but I can say with certainty the bar has been set very high!

Beautiful and safe! This is the place to go for ziplining in pigeon forge/gatlinburg area. My wife an I went here after reading another glowing review. This place has all the right things: beautiful runs through the woods and over valley streams, friendly and professional staff, and safe equipment. Kids are also allowed — over 8 years old or 75 lbs, The base camp also has a store to buy shirts and souvenirs, including photos of you ziplining which are taken by staff while you are on the runs. I didn’t even see this guy snapping photos of us and although we didn’t buy any, Its a cool perk if you want to have a photo to remember the occasion. Five or six runs altogether and the course lasted about 2 hours. Highly recommended!

Zip– a-dee-do-da! Ok, couldn’t help myself with that one. Here we go! This was our first Zip lining experience, but we are outdoor folks with an adventure streak in us. We wanted to surprise our 11 year-old with something other than white water rafting. Don’t get me wrong we love our white water, but we just wanted something new and the rivers here can be pretty tame. So after finding a few outfitters we went with this operation mainly based on how helpful the girl on the phone was. It was an easy drive from Asheville, NC(about 1 hour) and their directions were spot on. The guides Steve-O and Joe showed us how to gear up quickly and safely and out the door we went. We went on a couple of practice zips each a little further up than the last until away we went. The guides did not inspire fear at all and actually encouraged us to go faster and brake later. They even bounced the more adventurous of the group around while on the line. The view was beautiful and the last two Zips alone made the 2 hour round trip worth it. If you go you can ask for Joe and Steve, but really it seemed like everyone working there was great! Around back of the building is the dog house with some pretty satisfying Chili Dogs so you can grab a bite for the road. Don’t forget to sign the wall.
