I used to live off of Franklin Ave years ago and was on Frankin Ave today and decided to see if it was still there. Sure enough there it was. My wife and got got a slice of the sheet pizza and she loves anchovies so she got the anchovy pizza. Both were great. We also picked up some of their delicious bread and our car smelled of it all afternoon I’m glad to see that they have been able to survive but I guess it is because of the quality products and good service that they provide.

This place is great. I ordered my pizza here for the superbowl yesterday, picked up some bread while i was there. Al ways friendly staff and pizza and bread are delicious. Sheet pizza and 4 loaves of bread, $ 20. Cookies available too. Worth the trip.

Best Italian ice you will find in Hartford. Amazing pastries and breads. Welcoming, friendly family-run atmosphere. You just don’t see enough places like South End anymore. Tiny, easy to miss, and closes early so get over early for this one.

This bakery is owned by a lovely older couple(LOL, i do not want to call them elderly!) that have been at this location for I believe he said it was over 30 years! They sell all sorts of pastries, and typical Italian cookies, as well as Italian Breads and rolls… They also have some pizza normally, I was there late in the day, and the regular pizza was sold out(it is sheet style). If i have a choice, bread or cookies, I’m always into the bread. It’s my favorite thing… and their bread is very nice. Oh, they also sell Italian Ice, which looked absolutely yummy. Let me again say, I was there late in the day, and they were actually just about to leave, but very nicely let me come in to pick out a bread. They were both very sweet and personable, and that fact alone would bring me back, even if the bread hadn’t been as good as it was! ps. Next time we are definitely going to try one of their clairs, they looked delicious!
