Tupelo Music Hall

First of all, this is a fantastic venue for music, great sound system and the technical staff is top notch. It used to be a BYOB establishment but I was pleased to find a bar on site. Here lies the rub, the bar staff are not bartenders and have no clue what they are doing unless it is opening a beer. Drinks were very weak, watery and not measured. I normally would not complain however $ 12 for a drink in this area is obscene if it is terrible. We are not in manhattan. I had one drink, took it back for a replacement and the second effort was just as bad. If the prices were a little more reasonable and the training on the staff were better, I am sure that their revenue would be far better. I love this place but will not plan to have a drink next time.
