Vintage Chic By Design Studio

How could I not have known about this place sooner!
Located by Real Art Ways, Vintage Chic by Design Studio is owned by the fabulous Laree Salmon — she and her staff have opened a shop that combines both high quality vintage clothing and accessories that are inter-​disbursed with clothing from several up and coming designers.
Laree has been able to fit a lot of very interesting clothing and accessory pieces in a small space but not in a claustrophobic way. As I entered the shop did not know where to start or which way to turn. Racks of clothes from the every decade of the 20^th and 21^st Century were represented on the racks at Vintage Chic — from flapper dresses and crochet dresses to bell bottoms and power suits — all of the pieces look as good as if not new.
AND in speaking with Laree she told me that the clothes that I was seeing was just a fraction of her total inventory! I can only imagine what else she has boxed away just waiting to be unveiled.
If you are looking for vintage, one of a kind clothing items that are carefully and lovingly procured then you must visit Vintage Chic. I know I will definitely be back.
Side note — they are located on the fourth floor of 56 Arbor Street, but the entrance to the building is actually in the first parking lot behind the building. Just a tip so you won’t be like me and spend several minutes staring up to the 4^th floor on Arbor Street, knowing Vintage Chic is up there, but not know how to get in the building.
