Ummm what dont they have here. I love shopping at these kinds of places and really supporting local businesses. Plenty of parking and a great outdoo market during good weather. There is a food court and with the size of the market, it is an all day event.

I absolutely LOVE this place. It has everything you need and at reasonable prices. Parking is great and they seem to have expanded since I was last here! Some vendors take credit, but have cash on hand for those that don’t.

This is great place to go if your looking for an adventure while shopping. This is the largest flea market in the state and booths are endless. They have everything and anything. Just try coming on a Saturday and you could be here for hours just browsing and enjoying the atmosphere.

We went in the winter time, so there was no outside vendors. The items inside were mostly your typical flea market items, nothing special. A few booths seemed out of place, but again, may be because of the winter months. We’ll give it another go in the spring/summer to see if it improves. If not, we won’t be driving the 45 minutes again as it’s not worth it.

Great place to shop for unique items, good selection of produce & Duma’s Meats is there with great prices and the freshest meat around! R Grocer is there & I always come out with a ton of groceries for very little money! Hartville is a great place to hang out with the family! It’s clean, plenty of parking and the restrooms are always clean.

This place is huge! It has a little bit of evrything. Inside vendors, outside vendors you could get lost here for hours. If you are looking for a nice relaxing day out, stop by and walk around. Make sure you bring you walking shoes. Some vendors accept credit cards, some don’t however their is an ATM right when you walk in.

This is a nice flea market to go. A lot of good finds here. It opens from 9 to 5 pm. Mon, Thur, Fri and Sat. Perhaps the week days are slower than weekends. We normally visit on a Monday which looks slower.

It was a rainy and chilly Saturday morning and we had some time to kill before our flight back home… We decided to check out this Flea Market, as its been a long time since I visited one, as they are very different in Ohio than what I experienced in Denver. Nice, beautiful, big building. There is a few buildings to pass to get to the Marketplace, just go to the last building in the very back to find this one. Once inside, yes– its like a glorified flea market, but its not outside, its very clean, and almost everyone takes credit cards. You have Amish Furniture Sales, fun stuff for the yard… Ohio based sports areas… clothing, blankets, and more… Once y ou get past all that is for the ‘home’ you enter the ‘food court area’. there may be a man there carving wood spoons out of pieces of wood. or you can simply get something to eat. After leaving this area, which is mucht nicer than a mall food court, nice wood theme throughout. you end up in the grocery. Fresh foods, homemade treats, and awesome cheese made locally, all await you here. It was hard to not buy everything up … but it wouldn’t fit on the plane :)

I would start by saying that I am not a huge flea market person because it looks like a bunch of junk for sale. I enjoy coming to the marketplace 2 – 3 times a year to get some good cheese from Holmes county(probably better to go there since it is closer to Cbus) I also use to work at a stand here back when I just graduated from high school so it is cool to see how it changes. The inside is constantly changing with a few stands leaving and new ones coming in. Their used to be a great bread company that is gone but now they have a pirogi lady, lovely cupcake stand, nut place, and a variety of other tasty stands. I pay attention to the food places over the other stands. Upstairs are mostly antique, clothing, and boutique type shops while the downstairs is unique variety of shops. The place was insane on a Saturday in March maybe due to the lovely weather but they were also running a cornhole tourney and people were going crazy at the food area. I think most people go here just to eat from their kitchen. They also have a HK express here. This place is great place to spend a few Saturdays a year. I am sure one who like to shop for odd items would love this place in the summer. I would recommend not going to this place over any major holiday as it is crazy busy then.

As a visitor to Ohio, I think this as a nice slice of life to see. There were not many stores that I was really interested in, but we did find some great deals at Rugs and Stuff, and enjoyed the food section, which has many homemade/unique food items, especially a lot of stuff that is pickled :) There is also a great hot sauce store that I would recommend. I wish they would tone down the sports paraphernalia, and ugly women’s clothing stores though! Also heavy on the God/Jesus stuff. In addition, there is an awesome(read sarcasm) store that has a lot of taxidermy of cute animals, samurai swords, and guns. The sister marketplace is a step up, has a decent/cheap restaurant called Hartville Marketplace Kitchen, and a few more upscale stores, including a nice art store upstairs that has some cool stuff, although also extremely religious in nature. Many cute things i would have considered purchasing if they didn’t have Bible quotes written on them :)

The comb-overs. The toupees. The ragged, unkempt beards. Massive, jiggling beer bellies. And that’s just some of the women shoppers at the Hartville Flea Market. The men? Uh. Well. Saw one guy in full camo, leaving with his one find: a WWII entrenching tool. Survivalism, ho! (Don’t look for Peg P.‘s «Hartsville» because, well, that town flat don’t exist. The place is on the outskirts of Hartville, OH. There is not, in fact, a Hartsville IN Ohio. Peg? Were you perhaps in another state?) Hundreds of outdoor stalls, many containing the Universal Flea Market Standard-Issue Crap: plastic toys, useless tools, many, many household and personal items that may have been rescued during a recent dumpster-dive. There were about six or eight vendors that had some good stuff, and bothered to display their wares. Found two fezzes. Fezzez? Fezzi? No matter, neither would fit my freakishly large melon. Saw a sweet, complete Cushman scooter. The few things other than those that were of interest weren’t for sale, by which I mean they were so overpriced as to be out of the realm of reality. The inside is more of a «New Crap» versus the outside, which is predominantly«Used Crap.» Again, just a few vendors were even bothering to present their goods in a professional manner. Bought a nice, leather wallet from a courteous guy at Hartville Leather Goods, nearest the east entrance, and the woman running the teeny-tiny«Glamorous» shop(stall number 211) did a great job with her display; it could have been in a real shopping mall. Good work. The rest? Yee-ow, what a wreck. And get this: they sell food. Fifteen pound stacks of bologna for a buck ninety-nine. Last month’s popcorn. Candy, by the cubic yard — back up the dump-truck, Lula Mae, we’s eatin’ tonight!

NEVER, EVER go to this flea market on Memorial Day! I have discovered that, on this day, the state of Ohio literally shuts down. People crowd the small towns littered throughout the State, waving their flags, singing songs, giving speeches, etc., and for a few hours the World stops. That also means that you stop(aka. the streets are blocked). That being said… Hartville is a great flea market to visit! Just make sure you put on your sunscreen and bring your walkin’ shoes! Because, it’s HUGE!!! There are tons of dealers selling everything under the sun. I saw a man from Georgia selling his peanuts; you literally had to scoop them out of his truck. There were plant and produce sellers, people with new crap, fake designer handbags(more crap), and people selling their old treasures. Boy, were there some treasures! You name it, and it was there. And, there’s also a gigantic indoor marketplace to explore. It’s a fun time for all, and I highly suggest visiting at least once! Visit their website for hours and other info:

Hartsville Marketplace and Flea Market is quite the experience. It is set on a large plot of land in Hartsville, Ohio and has several buildings where vendors can set up little shops to sell their clothing, decorative items, beauty products, baseball cards, sporting memorabilia etc. There are rows and trows of vendors, browsing around can easily take a few hours. There are also places that sell meats and cheeses, chocolates, and baked goods. They also have a farmers market to pick up fruits and veggies. GREATDEALS. Hartsville also has a building that includes a restaurant with homemade meals and desserts. They have a HUGE menu offers something for everyone. I strongly recommend you try their homemade pies — they are delicious! They also have a more traditional gift shop as well as a jewelry store. Hartsville also has a HUGE outdoor flea market, where you can browse around to find all kinds of treasures! Again coming to Hartsville is an all day experience and well worth it.
