I popped in and got one pork sandwich. Just a little snack to tide me over. Once I was in the car I got a chance to unpeel the wrapper and get a look at what I’d just bought. It didn’t look all that impressive. A little short, a little wrinkled, a little sad. But that short wrinkled sandwich had an amazing flavor! And the barbecue sauce at this place… Oh my gosh! It’s wonderful! Spicy and flavorful and peppery, it’s just amazing. I am so glad I went but this is the second time in a month that I’ve stopped at a place for a quick snack only to want to flip a U and enjoy 5 times the food I walked out with.

Took my son for lunch today. Fish and shrimp basket with fries and a 6 piece wing basket with onion rings. Everything was good. My son loved the shrimp, the catfish and wings were very good. We needed a box to bring home what was not eaten, but it won’t make it through the afternoon. I will be back.

Didn’t have a good experience, I order two piece catfish basket w/fries the breading on the fish fell off and the ft was soak in grease I paid $ 8.45 and was very disappointed and still hungry I guess that’s what happens when you go to a BBQ place and order fish

My daughter and I really enjoyed this place. The ribs fell off the bone and the pork had a great flavor. We’ll return.

They get 2 stars for the friendly staff and one more for the good sides. This may not be fair to some, but I review almost all bbq places on the quality of their ribs and this was one of the worst experiences as far as the ribs go. I have never had tougher or colder ribs at a restaurant. The sauce was mediocre at best. But as I said before the staff and the side dishes were really quite enjoyable, just order something other than the ribs for your main course.

Love this place! My whole family does! We’ve had pork plates, pork sandwiches, ribs, chicken tenders, hush puppies(are so good! They have jalapeños in them), and the wings! Our new favorite BBQ place!

I expected more. I wanted something local and fresh but it seems like a barely put together business with mediocre food. They’ve been open a couple weeks I suppose but it felt like day one. It was 6pm on a Friday night. There were three people working the front kitchen(small and crowded) with one person on cash register. I waited 17 minutes to order and there were only 3 people in front of me with small orders. Once I ordered, I was incorrectly charged but kept going since asking for something to be held off my sandwich was problematic. After 15 minutes, my order was coming together. The special note for the sandwich was not passed to the kitchen and it wasn’t tagged for carryout after saying carryout three times. I go to my cat and try both items in my order. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. The baked potato wasn’t served with butter but I did have to ask for sour, cream, and cheese twice(menu states it costs extra but since my receipt was wildly inaccurate, I’m sure if I was even charged for the extras). The pulled pork was«ok». It didn’t make me want to come back. I was given ranch dressing and no barbecue sauce. *confused* I asked for BBQ sauce and was met with a nearly puzzled look but she reached over and tossed a container in my bag.(When I cook barbecue, I don’t serve it in sauce but there are a few sauce options available for my guests. The meat is flavorful enough that sauce isn’t required.) Then bun had fallen apart in the 20 seconds it took to walk outside. The baked potato held up well and even lasted for the trip home. Overall, I was bored with the food and not thrilled about the experience. [Service: 2/5] Counter based ordering and pickup with drive-thru pickup service coming in the future. * Order calculated incorrectly and inaccurate. * [Food: 3/5] It’s a barbecue place but I saw no signs of barbecue equipment inside nor around the back or side. I noticed a trailer based smoker/grill out front attached to the owner’s vehicle. I don’t know if it is cooked on-site or not. Since my food was barely warm, I can’t imagine it was cooked recently. I do understand how the barbecue business operates but I shouldn’t get barely warm food at 6pm. * Flavor/Quality to cost just wasn’t great. I’ve had better barbecue with table service for less and it was local. I’m willing to pay more but it wasn’t deserving here. * [Organization: 1/5] No one knew what was happening. There was no clear process in the kitchen and no one seemed to have specific duties. It looked like a free-for-all with inexperienced food service folks. I got an emailed receipt since they use Square and I noticed the name on the receipt wasn’t for the BBQ business but for a construction company. Small hunch here, maybe the property owner didn’t want the newly empty space to remain empty and opened a BBQ shop. But why are they processing credit cards in the construction business’ name. Kinda odd. That doesn’t exactly connect the patron with the food business and help them with their receipt management later. * Unorganized. No website. No take home menus. Menus are printed on letter paper and taped to the old restaurants menu board. It is difficult to read at a normal 10 – 15 feet viewing distance. Maybe 18 point font on white paper. Not making an impression or helping me decide. [Summary] Poor service and amazing food would mean I’d give them a second chance. Mediocre food and poor service probably means they won’t stay open for business(and pull a profit) much longer.
