Fantastic, friendly, and very professional. These guys know what they are doing and aren’t arrogant like many good hair stylists are. I went on a recommendation from a friend and will not be going anywhere else.

I love this salon. I always enjoy my experience, everything from the wash to the cut and style. My hair always is perfect when Michael is finished. I will never go any where else to get my hair done. The nicest people!

I have to say I love this place ! Everyone in the salon is so friendly. My stylist is Mike, he is awesome ! I come in feeling drab and leave like a beauty queen ! The products they use, color, shampoo, styling products are all top notch. I used to go to a very high price salon on Metairie Road, I must say I am so much happier with the results at Michael Frank’s ! Also, the prices will make you smile !

Fun, relaxing atmosphere. I booked an appointment a week in advance with Jeff. Time for a very needed cut. My hair was getting too long (see before picture) and the tips were dry. Jeff juggled two clients at the same time without compromising service or quality. The lady in the chair next to me was clearly a regular and we briefly chatted about «The Campaign.»
He then instructed his assistant to show me how to curl my hair. A feat I usually do not attempt. Ever. With my straight, fine, Asian hair. They had me practice hands on with two strands so that I could familiarize myself with the curling wand. It curled my hair much faster than a curling iron.
I love my new cut and am thrilled with my curls.

I am so in love with this place right now. On friday I made the mistake of trying to high light my hair with an OTC kit. That failed miserably. I called here first thing Saturday morning and they were able to fit me in surprisingly. They even called later and asked if I wanted to be fit in any earlier. Once I sat in the chair, Michael quickly let me know that he could fix it and how. Within two hours you could never tell that I had done anything unjust to my hair and it was perfectly styled for my date that night. On top of that, a head full of highlights and fixing and error was only $ 100. Happy, happy girl.

Mandy and Cheryl did my hair and makeup for my wedding and they did an amazing job! They came to the hotel to do everything. All my bridesmaids got their hair done and each had different styles. Mandy just looked at the pictures and did the hair exactly like the girls wanted. She was very fast and efficient. She had no problem making changes if they wanted a simple fix. It looked really great with all the different styles she could do. I am still getting compliments everyday about my hair that she styled. She really listened to what I wanted. It turned out beautiful and looks amazing in all the pictures. She even gave a tutorial to all my bridesmaids on how to take out the veil. Cheryl was originally only supposed to do makeup for 5 girls but when everyone saw what a wonderful job she did they all wanted their makeup done. Instead of doing 5 girls, she did 9! She made the makeup look very natural but stunning. One of the bridesmaids got fake eyelashes so I decided to do it as well. They made the eyes look great and stayed on perfect the whole night. All the girls were really happy with the results! I would highly recommend these 2 for any wedding. Not only did they do a fabulous job, but they are such great people. They were very friendly and professional.

Awesome service, cut, and style. Kelli did a great job on my hair, she even taught me how to style my new do. The price is so low for what you receive in return. I highly recommend this salon.

Jeff has been doing my hair here for 9 years now. I would never go anywhere else and will probably go here until Jeff retires. I only get my hair cut (I don’t color anymore), but I am always satisfied. The staff will work with you to give you the look you want. I have also gotten my make up done here in the past and I am always satisfied. A+!

Michael has been cutting, styling, and highlighting my hair for almost ten years now and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to switch to another stylist! I’ve moved to Baton Rouge, Mississippi and now live in Houston… and I’ve tried other salons, but I’m never satisfied. Michael-Frank’s has the friendliest and most talented crew.
Michael always asks me what I’d like done and provides his expert opinion before even touching your hair. I’ve never walked out of his chair less than 110% thrilled with his work. The prices are right, the service is superb and it’s always worth a trip back home!
