Power Yoga of Cape Cod

I love Power Yoga and all the instructors my only wish is for more classes with some of the more challenging instructors which at Power Yoga happen to be the classes that draw the most students. Last summer it seemed that there was at least one class a day that was large and intense and this summer there is one such class every couple of days that I may or may not be able to get to! As a result I joined another studio as well. More great classes needed!

I’m in Brewster for the summer so was looking for a cute yoga spot that wasn’t too overpriced. This place is small but has a great open, large room for yoga with hardwood floors so you don’t have to worry about a bad carpet smell!
I got a great 2 month unlimited yoga package for $ 150 as an intro price since I’d never been, and they have tons of different packages to suit any needs. You can rent a yoga mat for $ 1 if you don’t have one, and they also sell mats and all types of yoga supplies! I love that they also have a few Pilates classes during the week so you can get a little extra toning in. The classes range from 1 – 1.5 hours, and moderate to challenging so there is definitely something for everyone.
You can buy packages online and reserve your spot too, which is great as it gets busier here! They also have a Dennis location for those of you out that way. Namaste!

A beautiful place to find peace. The studio is always kept clean and bright, you can feel the energy when reaching for the door handle. All of the instructors are well trained and beautiful individuals. My only complaint is that I wish they held classes a little later in the day for those who work into the late afternoon.

This is the best Yoga studio I have been to on the Cape! I started out here with the «Intro Series» which teaches you the basics of the poses and the breathing. After learning the basics in 2011, I felt comfortable enough to branch out and try classes. I now go 2 – 3 times a week and have noticed a huge improvement in flexibility, balance, stress relief, clarity, etc. It really is life changing; I’m hooked! Jill (the owner) and everyone else is so friendly, welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. I’ve been to a ton of classes taught by all different instructors– and they are all great; Leigh, Eric, Rhia, Jill, Jenny, Andrea, Susannah, Bill, and Kathleen to name a few. I also went to the «Glow in the Dark» yoga event and it was very cool!
A big plus is the cleanliness of the studio too (important when there’s a room full of sweaty people!).
The only «cons» for me: individual classes are pretty expensive (it is better to buy a package), and this studio (Harwich) doesn’t offer enough evening/​night classes that work with my schedule. The intro series takes up two 6:00pm spots a week :(
My advice: Give it a try! :)

The studio is clean, the instructors are knowledgeable, and everyone was upbeat.
Make sure to ask about their weekly rates, the daily rates are high compared to metro classes.
Rhia teaches a really good power yoga class and Andrea teaches a wonderful «real» beginners class. It’s really holistic!
Don’t forget to get to class in-​time to get a spot for your mat, the classes fill-​up early.

My problem with yoga is I am usually looking at the clock within the first few minutes– most studios/​classes I get bored. At Power Yoga of Cape Cod, though, I loved the whole time I was there. The studio is beautiful and uncluttered, an inspirational space. The teachers — I had Jill, Eric and Petra, all amazing. They take you through challenging and well thought out routines. I felt great after every class and easily fell into a dedicated practice with them. Wish I still lived close enough to go!

I took the Intro class with Jill and Eric. They are both amazing teachers. The studio itself is beautiful and you’ll leave feeling amazing.

I took a great power flow class with Joanna. I was visiting from California and felt really welcomed. The class was challenging, and I was so glad I made time for it! I agree the shop had good stuff. I picked up a t-​shirt to remember that great part of our vacation.

i highly reccomend this yoga studio. I know Jill, the owner from Kripalu and Eric is awsome. These classes can be as easy or as hard as you want them to be, everything feels allowed and you can be free to be who you are that day. My body is different everyday and at different times of the day. My yoga adjusts and tranforms ongoingly. This is a warm friendly place with authentic teachers that truly love yoga. Bring extra $$$ with you bcz the the little shop area is pretty awsome there are some one of a kind pieces by a women from the Cape that has a label called «The Fisherman’s Daughter», and she really is a fishermans daughter from Chatham, MA. The clothes are ecofriendly and stylish.
