Stopped here after skiing sundown. Very cool place with good food and good beer. Happy that we stopped here, especially considering the dearth or restaurants in the area

Best breakfast around! They always have amazing specials and the biggest pancakes you’ll ever see. Can’t wait to try their dinner at some point!

Had breakfast on Sunday morning-first time in. Quick friendly service. Ordered the omelette with applewood bacon and portobello mushrooms. Asked that the swiss cheese be omitted, but it was still added. I chose to eat it as is, and was glad I did. Complimented the other favors nicely.

The food was just OK and very expensive. My husband got the fish and chips and the breading was very hard and so thick he had to remove it. I had chicken breast over pasta — it was extremely dry. We did enjoy the wings.

Great food and something different than the usual places around here. The wings and burgers are amazing! It was quite busy when we went so service was a little slow but otherwise service was great! I highly recommend checking them out!

I’ve only tried this place for lunch but took my fiancé here for a breakfast that he really enjoyed. I’ve also heard great things from others about breakfast! As far as the lunch: it was good. Nothing to blow my mind but I ordered a simple club sandwich(turkey and bacon on toast). It was large & tasty. I ordered a side of fruit and it was fresh and delicious(but it had only one piece of pineapple compared to the endless amounts of watermelon & melon-I hate that!) Also, it was a chilly January day and that could be felt in the restaurant! I was hit with a draft of cold air every time someone walked in which was often. Yikes! I was shivering half the time. I mean that’s nothing against the food of course but it’s certainly uncomfortable. Next time I will make sure to get a seat in the back. The waitstaff was friendly but slow. Nothing really to complain about there. I will definitely go back but for breakfast and I’ll ask for a seat away from the drafty front space.

It’s late in the day to post about my breakfast of fresh strawberries, fresh whip cream on a light and fluffy waffle. But knowing they’re open tomorrow for the holiday, I recommend trying it!

Had our first meal here tonight with the family. I was so pleased with the food and the service, we’ll definitely be back. I had the special which was a bacon wrapped chicken breast with spinach and goat cheese. The girls ordered a burger and a meatloaf and couldn’t finish their meals. The portions are large and fairly priced. My husband enjoyed his Cobb salad. We finished the meal with the Belgian waffle sundae shared by all 4 of us. The place was packed when we arrived at 7 pm, but we were one of the last tables left at 8 pm on a Sunday night.

The Edison Grill is without a doubt an outstanding local gem that is excellently operated. The food is excellent. The staff is terrific and the management simply get it. What I mean by that is, they understand how to attract and keep customers happy. If you don’t go here you are certifiable.

Completely disappointing on just about every level you can imagine! I’ll use the model that my Unilocal buddy Dan uses. What went well versus what could be improved. What went well: The menu and the options. Wonderful variety and some really creative food. Also, the freshness of the food. You can totally tell that they use fresh ingredients. And the décor is great too. Nice and cute, open air feel, very comfy. This place has some serious potential. It is a little off the beaten path but would be well worth the trek if the food and service were just as great as the décor. What needs to be improved: While the menu offerings are fresh and vastly differ from your atypical sandwich/entrée options at a chain restaurant, the execution is so poor I’m not sure where to begin. They grind their own meat which is great however, my boyfriend’s Dad found a piece of fat SOLARGE in his burger that it took up ¼ of the patty — I only wish I were exaggerating. When we let the waitress know, she took the piece to the cook and never returned. Or apologized. My boyfriend’s Mom just didn’t like her burger at all. When we told the waitress, she shrugged and walked away. My boyfriend got the cheeseburger quesadilla which was great in theory but dripping in grease. It seems I lucked out with a panini special for the day — ham, bacon, pineapple, jerk bbq sauce and swiss. It was delicious. It really was. But, the pineapple was cold while everything else was hot. Perhaps grilling the pineapple would have been a nicer way to eat the sandwich. When our bill came, the waitress said nothing about the burgers, didnt apologize, didnt take anything off the bill, nothing. I’m never out for a free meal but the lack of shitty service is what really got to me. It’s a shame because we all really wanted to like this place. It would have been a nice go-to when meeting up with his family for quick lunch or dinner dates. This place won’t be on the rotation again though. The food I would give another chance but to the service: you ain’t doin’ me any favors with that lovely attitude which means, I will pass on the food too.

The best veggie omelet I have ever had! Clean fast awesome place!!! Unbelievable cuisine. We love the specials and look forward to going there each week. Wait until the appetizers come out to order your meal, service is so fast you could be eating it all at once!

Disappointing dinner. $ 9.00 bought me a «glass» of wine which was about 3 ounces! I sent it back. Very noisy. They expanded the restaurant this past summer but added only a few more tables. Pricy. C–

We thought the line at the door was a good sign but after waiting 20 minutes for a seat, our breakfast started off with tasteless coffee you could see through, which my husband and I BOTH sent back after a couple sips, and opted for 2, $ 9 Bloody Mary’s.decent tasting but small… but better than the coffee for sure. Our food looked decent enough but the stuff they used as «butter» on the toast tasted like rancid lard… and I mean NASTY… unfortunately they must use the same stuff on the grill because my omelet tasted like it too… I was able to eat it with the aid of some hot sauce and I was starving. Fortunately my unbuttered english muffin was edible although barely toasted. Nothing special about any of it. Typical diner breakfast. The thing that will prevent me from EVER going back to this place is not the mediocre food so much as the fact that the owner did not take the coffee off our bill even though we didn’t drink it because he said«there’s nothing wrong with our coffee»!!! Sorry sir but usually the person CONSUMING the food decides whether or not THEY like it… not YOU. PLUS, we opted for $ 18 worth of drinks in it’s place. you should have been happy to take off coffees that cost you just a few cents each… BADCUSTOMERSERVICE will destroy a place fasted than bad food… and you have a bit of both. I deducted the $ 5 from the bill myself… quote the Raven, «Nevermore.»

Grabbed a quick lunch here the other day and let me say this … This place really sneaks up on you! Very unassuming from the outside but the décor and food are both great. BIG portions for a good price. I felt like I got a lot of value for my dollar. Great craft beer selection too … I am looking forward to going back soon!

Friendliest wait service I’ve experienced in a while. They gave my order to someone by accident and gave me a beer on the house. Great food as well. There burgers are excellent.

The food, service, and atmosphere combine to make it a great experience. Highest quality ingredients like the seared salmon which had the freshest and most delicious fish cooked perfectly. The desserts are unbelievable. Coconut cake was delicious with homemade cake, butter cream icing, and fresh coconut. A top destination.

Went here for breakfast with a small group yesterday. Two orders of poached eggs were both well over cooked with solid yolks. The home fries were burned yet hard as pebbles which is actually sort of impressive. The brie and blueberry stuffed French toast is basically a brie grilled cheese sandwich. y fiancée’s toast was more like stale rye with some butter. The pancakes were as my friend put it; «like eating a warm washcloth.» So yeah… We were thoroughly unhappy. Only made alright by our very friendly waitress. It’s the only game in town however so it will undeservedly thrive.

We went to Edison tonight for the first time since their remodel and were floored! What a perfect spot for delicious food and a drink. We loved it! At our table we had a mix of paninis, pasta, and chicken all cooked to perfection. And dessert? How nice is it to get a dessert that’s not frozen and microwaved?! Will definitely be back!

Best restaurant around. Have been only twice to this small, unique restaurant and each time I was completely impressed. The interior is nicely decorated and themed with Thomas Edison style inventions and framed pics showcasing his work. The service is always friendly and correct. The servers know the menu and are always quick to get you your drinks, aps, etc. without being pushy. The food has been spectacular. At each visit myself and my family have ordered different items and never have we had a complete. Food is very tasty and fresh. Everything is done well. Even the side salad, isn’t your standard iceberg with 2 slices of tomato and 3 cucumbers. The specials menu is always something a little different. Always so full from dinner and appetizers that I have yet to sample the dessert menu.

I’m so excited to have found such a gem in our neck of the woods! My hubby and I went another couple, all 4 ordered different dinners and all 4 were simply amazing! I had the burger. House ground and cooked to perfection. My husband had the shrimp scampi. Shrimp was grilled before tossed in with the pasta and sauce. Mean man wouldn’t give me a bite :(Other couple ordered the pan seared chicken and meatloaf. Both of which they raved about. The service was awesome! Very attentive without hovering. We will definitely be making this one of our«go to» places! BTW — Watermelon daquiri? — DELISH!!!
