First thing is skip this place on Sunday, hell make your own donuts at home instead of coming here. Unless your life depends on having ready to eat donuts within minutes because your blood sugar is low I would venture somewhere else. They taste stale(from previous day maybe) and the selection is nonexistent, only half of the racks is open, the other half is infested with flies that will make lake Mosquitos look like they are your best friends. They should just stay closed on Sunday.

What a horrible experience! Stopped in here after several hours of house hunting with customers in the area for a quick coffee break and expected the usual DD experience — good coffee and maybe something else fast. It’s not the staff. It’s the owner, The staff there does a great job — even with people in line, the wait is short and what you order is delivered fast. But, the place is a disaster. There are virtually no chairs and tables and yet the space available was quite large. I bet you could easily accommodate 10 tables and chairs. By the way, for the 3 small square tables there were 8 or 9 chairs. What you order is not what you expect because the staff doesn’t have what they need to serve you correctly. Look, I normally just get coffee so I don’t have a lot to compare with but my customers wanted sandwiches so I ordered something too. This is DD, not a top restaurant. It’s cheap fast food but if you order a grilled cheese with ham, why is the ham missing? If you order a croissant sandwich with tuna salad, why do they not have tuna salad? If you change over to chicken salad, why does it hardly have any chicken and why is the croissant not completely cooked? This is NOT the staff’s fault — it’s the owner who messed this up. Croissants don’t cook completely through if you don’t have a good working oven. The owner needs to pay for an oven that works and for enough chairs and tables to fill the large space that’s now empty so people who go there can sit down and enjoy what they’ve purchased. The staff does the best they can but they’re fighting an uphill battle. If this was an apartment building, I’d call the owner a slumlord. In this case, the owner is someone who is getting every cent he can because people will come due to the DD brand. But this is no DD — this is an unfortunate mess.

Worst Double Deez I’ve been to yet. Went in today, ordering went smooth. I was very surprised to see that although its a very large store, there were only 42-person tables in the whole place. Guess they don’t want people sitting down and eating here? Thankfully it was a nice day out so my bf and I decided to eat outside somewhere. The only food I ever order from DDs is hash browns. In many years and several franchises visited, never had hash browns that were significantly burnt. These were practically black. I also got an iced coffee which I wanted to sweeten myself. Went over to the section with napkins and straws that usually includes condiments like ketchup, as well as salt pepper and sugar. All they had there was salt. Uhh k. Bye.

I don’t usually review Dunkin Donuts chains. I’ve been to so many, and they all have been very different, but my experience today at this chain was just so frustrating. There was a LONG line of people at 7:30 Wednesday morning. You’d think that they would have multiple employees working to help out with the morning rush, but there were only two. Other Dunx that I’ve been to have at least 4 employees to deal with the high volume. These 2 employees definitely needed help because the line was moving SO slowly. Then, after maybe 2 customers, one of the employees decides to do some stocking. Why? Why do you feel the need to stock at this exact moment? After 2 more customers leave, she comes back to work the register. After 10 minutes I finally get to the register and order my coffee. She pours me a cup from the decaf carafe. I told her I wanted regular coffee and she said it was regular coffee. Uh, OK. Did you run out of regular carafes and have to use the decaf one? And if so, what if someone really wanted decaf? Was that available? I’m pretty sure she was lying to me, but I didn’t have time to argue because I needed to get to work. If I am ever in the area again, I’d give this Dunx another chance because I know we all have off days. Maybe they were short staffed. If not, they need to get their act together.

For the last week, I’ve had a craving for donuts. As I searched around my area, I noticed there are quite a few Dunkin Donuts within a few miles of where I live. More so than any other fast food establishment. DD must be popular in this area. Anyways, I decided to review this particular DD’s because its probably my favorite one. What stands out about this establishment is that its relatively new and clean. They also seem to run all the current promotions that DD corporate has running via its website and social media. I have experienced other DD’s not running or skimping on current promos. The donuts here, as with most other DD’s, are the freshest early in the morning. My favorites are the glazed and jelly donuts. Recently, I have tried the new Dunkin croissant donut, which tasted similar to a glazed donut with a more buttery filling. I do like the texture and the lightness of the donut. The only thing that stops me from making the new donut a part of my regular repertoire, is the price. Regular donuts cost $.99, but the new donut costs $ 2.49, more than twice the cost of a regular donut, even though its not that much larger in size.
