Decent liquor stores. Prices are reasonable. The selection is great. Run by elderly European couple. The lady is very friendly and polite. The guy helps you out with wine recommendation but some times he gets loud and sarcastic. Other than that, its been a decent experience… so far i have never been disappointed.

This is a standard liquor store. It’s pretty big, but their beer selection kinda sucks. Not bad if you’re just picking up a few cases for a party. The liquor and wine selection is better. Standard hours, they close at 10pm.

I’ve always wondered why Jersey was so different from other states when it comes to retail liquor distribution. I’m currently living California and in California you can purchase liquor at supermarkets, gas stations, convenience stores… even CVS! But in Jersey, the rules are much different. You can only purchase liquor at liquor stores. And the stores hold you hostage with their late opening and early closing times. Bottle King is indeed a king. While not as big as say a Bevmo, it’s still large. You’ll find wines from every possible world region and whiskey a-go-go. Their Fair Lawn location is probably double the size, but this location is more than capable of providing for your party/depression needs. Just try to be there on time…
