POORREVIEWOFDOCTORRONALDHEIDENHOFER. I was in extensive pain. I gave the facility my pain management info. I was treated with no respect and the Dr did not want to deal with me over pain. My review of Dr Ronald Heindenhifer 1. Very pore bedside manner, he treats people with pain like were criminals. 2. Dr. Ronald Heidenhofer told me his name I repeated back to make sure i understood and apparantly missed the mark and he says AREYOUHARDOFHEARING(I SAIDNOIMNOT, IMINVERYSEVEREPAIN) all because i could not pronounce his last name correctly that is just down right demeaning 3. Dr. Ronald Heidenhofer told me not to come back after this they will not care for my severe pain even though I gave him all my dr etc. Very poor review of the Doctor Teresa Turner I thought these mini ERS were going up all over to help the main hospitals by taking non emergency patients.

They got me in pretty quickly and did some tests. They brought on the big guns, CT scan(which is an advantage that they have that), and a sonogram. But the doctor had a horrible attitude. I felt like I was being interrogated! He was firing off questions like a machine gun, and before I would answer he would ask the next. Many times cutting me off saying«I’m the doctor, I’ll do the diagnosing», when I was trying to describe my symptoms. When I did not answer the question the way he wanted, he would repeat it up to 3 times like a robot??? He totally stressed me out! Zero empathy in his stone face expression. This was the first time ever I considered walking out mid examination! After about 4 hours, they sent me home with two prescriptions. My husband and our toddlers drove far to get them filled at night, but when I read the description, it did not match my symptoms at all! One script was for nausea(I told him time and time again, I did not have nausea!?), and the other for IBS… which I also did not have symptoms of??? I called the center back that night to ask what the medications were for. The nurse said she would talk to the doctor and call me back… she never did, so I never took the meds. With all the side effects, why should I take something I don’t need. The next day I called the office again, asking the nurse to confirm I need to take the medications for my condition… she put me on hold forever, then came back on the line and said that if I don’t have those symptoms, I don’t need to take the medications… but that the good news was that I can keep them on hand in case I ever have those symptoms…(I rest my case… what an absurd approach to treatment, and waste of time and money for both the patient and insurance!) Careless and unnecessary prescription of medications for the sake of prescribing is disturbing on many levels, not to mention dangerous!

I was taken to this facility by my daughter, due to breathing distress. We were checked in without an issues and the nursing staff was most efficient getting me settled in a room. After completing a variety of tests, blood work, x-ray, ct scan, I was given three prescriptions which we had to drop off at our pharmacy, they could not send them directly to a national chain pharmacy. Also, I was sent home with a possibility of having bronchitis and told if I did not feel better to follow up with my personal physician. I went home and within 12 hrs of being released I was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and spent 5 days in the hospital. It makes me wonder how the physician on duty missed the diagnosis of pneumonia. Btw I was the only patient in there, so no distractions, other waking him. The computer system was down, so I could not pay my copay, and to date I have not received a bill. Makes me leery of what my bill will be. Please trust me I will drive out of my way and go to another facility if and when I ever am in distress again.

This is a new facility for our area in the Far NorthWest Tarrant County(Haslet) area. Although I was the only patient to be seen with an online check in, The process was very quick. Like the previous post on the charges, after I was seen and discharged, I was told my visit(with insurance given) was $ 300. I was never told what the charges were for but I did ask for and was given the option for them to bill me. I was given a script for(2) medications and that was that. I wanted to get my prescription filled at our local Walmart which is just a stones throw away from this ER Facility but I was never offered the courtesy of having my script called in for me(nor did I know that was an option!!) In the end, Walmart verified the ER could call in Prescription directly however when I called the ER room directly, I was denied and told to drop off my script at the local WalMart… –FAVIII

Very quick, very nice facility, got in and out in around 30 minutes. Friendly staff, even called to see how I was doing the next day– unfortunately the low score is due to the high cost; for a short consultation, shot and prescription they charged me over $ 3k. I knew it was gonna cost more than the urgent care centers but that was just way too high for the amount of time I was there
