Met up with 7 friends at The Busted Nut for food and beer. It was a Thursday night. We were able to move tables together so we could converse better. Some had the wings, they were huge, Jerk and hot and plain. Some liked the wings some did not. A couple of us ordered burgers. We had the burgers at the Nut before and they are always great. The French fries are good but real small amount. Had a great waitress Sarah, she kept the drinks coming and was friendly. We will be back… The night was fun and the atmosphere is good at the Busted Nut.

Great selection of food, very good and reasonable prices! I just can’t bear to spill my peanut shells on the floor even though staff encourages it. I wish some bands that played music from the 50’s-70’s could get booked there like Cool Britannica or The Rocking Hollywoods. The hipster music scene at Busted Nut just isn’t me, lol!

This is a very nice bar for all walks of life. The owner is exceptional. She promotes a lot of activity in Hastings. Food is good and it has a nice hometown atmosphere.

Great place. Closest restaurant to Afton Apple Orchard and golf courses. Gluten free bread AND gluten free pizza crust. Excellent martini list. Best cheese curds ever. better than the State Fair. Burgers are hand pattied and I loved my pretzel bun. Has salad options along with pasta, wraps and sandwiches. Next time I will try The Hulk burger but my friend ordered it and said it was amazing. Never in my life would I EVER think to order a burger with peanut butter but it was EPIC. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Live music on Saturday’s is a jammin time.

Ever have the urge to throw your peanut shells on the floor? This is the place for you! It also has the best Burgers around with fast friendly service.

Great spot for burgers, beers and of course all the peanuts you can eat. Burgers were excellent, top tier really. Lots of intersting options on the menu. I had one with the egg on it, it was excellent. Ambiance is a bar. Very good spot

My buddies and I were in town on our way out and we needed a bar for a 21st celebration. With an inviting name and a live band this place was bound for a jive time. We ate leftover nuts on the table while watching two drunk locals jam out. The bartender playfully carded my 21 year old friend and bought him two drinks. The bathroom was surprising one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a bar and by the end of the night I even bought a shirt for the memories.

Don’t go here if you’re hungry. The service was fine but food took 45 minutes and was mediocre including the burned toast on my sandwich. Much better to visit the Applebee’s or green mill in town.

Pretty good, though the Onion Grill and RJs, feet away in old downtown Hastings are better. Good soup and sandwich for lunch. Average atmosphere but you can throw your peanut shells on the floor.

I think that the food here is delicious, and our waitress was nice enough. I don’t often come into Hastings, but my roommate and I were in the area and she recommended the burgers. What was odd was the topic of conversation going on behind the bar with the female bartender dressed as Robin Hood and a guy up at the bar. Please don’t discuss certain things at a certain level for all of the customers to hear.

Stopped in for a beer, ate some nuts, watched some football, and had a nice time. Food around the pub looked good, bartender knew her drinks. If you are looking for food and beverage, stop in.

Hubs wanted a burger and beer so we stopped by the Nut. Walking in, I was overwhelmed with the smell of the bathroom — it smelled like a urinal cake/freshener that they use in port-a-potties…ewww They had a small but ok selection. Hubs had a steak(flat iron?) which he thought was decent with waffle fries while I had a patty melt and upgraded from chips to fries. The melt was good and I was enjoying my meal until I tried a fry which totally tasted like a fish fry which is not a good taste when you don’t like fish. We were seated in the front window(only 2 other customers were in the bar) which was nice for people/car watching and also gave us a great view of the waitstaff and bartender going out for a smoke and then stopping by our table on their way in. My stop in again, as options are limited in Hastings; however I won’t be racing back anytime soon.

this goes against my «always give a place 2 trys» rule. i have only been to this place once. its a very small room, cramped, dark. on the table they give you a basket of nuts that your free to shell on the floor. the food is pretty blah. i had a burger that was… boring tasting… just not a very fun place, kinda boring and depressing.
