Being new to Minnesota, I wanted to play course outside of the Metro area. Chance to see this beautiful state and play a little golf. The course was not to long, in good shape, and very scenic. People where awesome and the play was fast on a weekday. This is a shot makers tract and challenging. I’ll be back.

After about a twenty year hiatus, I visited Hidden Greens. Still a basic country golf course, but interesting, and inexpensive to play. Accuracy is required as the entire course is built into beautiful forest of old oak trees. Not overly long, but definitely a shot maker’s layout. Overall conditions were above average, but a couple of greens looked as though they had been through a hailstorm. Not so — just poor or no attempts to repair ball marks. Quite crowded on this sunny day, mainly seniors. Although we played in just under four hours, it seemed longer as we waited on almost every tee. One great feature — Junior tees, cut in at a distance that will encourage young golfers to play — super idea. Lacks amenities, but well worth the reasonable price for an enjoyable round.
