Julie’s Workbasket

This is a neat little store we ran into while visiting Hastings. They were having a sidewalk sale due to the kool-​aid festival. The beautiful fabrics and packets of beads caught our attention.
The inside of the store is huge with tons of fabrics and beads and lots of neat gift items.
I bought some fabric that was really affordable out on their sidewalk sale and also found some really neat pieces for my jewelry making. They have a wide selection and overall the cost of things is comparable to other places I’ve been to.
What really impressed me is that when I got home I didn’t have enough fabric. I called and they located it and were going to mail it to me since I live two hours away. The owner was driving to Lincoln that day and called and scheduled a time and place to meet her. She was so nice meeting up with me and didn’t charge me any extra aside from the cost of the fabric.
It’s one of the best selections of beads I’ve come across in Nebraska, so that combined with my great experience previously means I’ll definitely be stopping in again next time I’m in Hastings.
