Pizza Hut

Not very good luck here. Stick to carbones, DUFFS tavern or spiral for good pizza!

Pizza is my favorite food. I like to order for delivery. I prefer Boneless Chicken wings, Buffalo Mild, the brownies and meat lover’s pizza. The food is always excellent, and the delivery drivers are fantastic. They even remember me and my brother. We live in the same building.

I’ve lived in Hastings 8 yrs & that I know of only 6 pizza joints (Lil’ Caesar’s closed). The only mom & pop shop has ok pizza, but the staff act like a bunch of gorillas. That being said, the rest here are franchise pizza restaurants. I guess how I’m looking at it… it’s a small town with not a lot of great food options.
That being said, staff here have always been very nice & respectful. Food gets to us fast & hot. This Pizza Hut & one other place in Hastings has the best pizza in town. Is it made by a grandma from Italy or would Gordon Ramsey rav over it… nope. Though, it’s still good, fast & great customer service.
I think we’ve become a society that doesn’t do simple anymore & expect all to wow us. If it’s clean & decent flavor food… I’m good. It’s a Pizza Hut in Hastings, MN… just saying.

Lunch visit but I was there with the kids who wanted to use his free pizza good reader coupon. Bad smell right at the door. Should have walked away. Table had to be cleaned before sitting down. Everything appears dirty and sticky. Carpet looks bad. That smell is still with me. I saw the buffet but wanted to order my own specific pizza. Server says I’d have too wait a little longer. I’m ok with that but… I get the impression I’m suppose to order buffet still but ask for a menu. Two minutes later he’s back to ask if we know what we want. I ask for menu again and we order drinks. Third time no menu still so I cave and get the damn buffet. Kids have to wait without food now. Drink all their milk long before anything shows up. I get nothing I want off buffet even though server offered to make a request. Previous patron left a practical joke for us… All the covers on salt Parmesan and red peppers loose. Nice and sticky. Yuck. Ask for water in the kids milk cup. Takes the cup back to kitchen. Fills with water in former milk cup with no rinse. I didn’t really expect it but I think it’s something I’d do if I worked for tips. Pay bill never return to make change. Sorry guys but I’m just gonna lie to the kids and tell them their reading coupons now work at pretty much anywhere else and pay whatever it takes to avoid this place.

I went to the Hastings Pizza Hut today actually, I hadn’t been there in years so of course I was very excited to finally make a trip there. Once, I went in there I noticed it was very dead, the employee’s were watching tv (which didn’t bother us) but our server named Suella, was not in anyway a good server. She got mad because we did not know what we wanted at first, (whether or not we’d dine-​in or take out) So once we stated we were dining in, she rolled her eyes and slammed the menu’s down on the table. She did ask us what we would like to drink, but without a smile or any show of politeness. We eventually ordered our pizza and requested the salad bar, she never said one word to us. We grabbed our salad, they were pretty tasty, so we were satisfied in that aspect. But, She brought our pizza, rudely gave it to us (without a smile or even a smirk) and then walked away to finish watching «Deal or No Deal» she never even gave us plates or asked us how the pizza was. It was by far the WORST Dine– in experience of my life. I myself am a server at a different Pizza place, so i knew what to look for and she just plain sucked with a bad attitude. So we were not gonna give her any type of tip. Also, a friend of mine had also been there to pick-​up a pizza and said she was very rude to her too! That is just not okay! I wouldn’t mind if she’s fired, She obviously didn’t want to be there anyway. NEVER going back again!!! You’re supposed to HONOR your costumers, not treat them like that!!!

We ordered online and were told it would be here at 7:31. At 7:45, with still no pizza we called. You evidently don’t get to talk to the local store anymore and get a national call center. They only offer excuses. Ridiculous service.

pizza hut quality has hit rock bottom. the prices dont justify the horrid quality. this location does have some nice servers though… thats the only good thing.
