I took my dad out of ardent courts in Warminster because My father had a wound on his ankle that went to his bone! I took my dad out and brought him to the ER at Holy Redeemer where the ER doctor told me to report this to dept. of aging. This was nursing home abuse to have it gone unnoticed. Dept. of aging fined Ardent Courts. We moved my dad out of this place! You pay $ 5,000.00 A month and they don’t take real care of the residents. My dad fell and had a brain injury. You would think they Would notice this huge wound but they never bathe the residents either! Just because this place is somewhat less expensive you MUST check you loved ones care daily! Thank God I took my dads socks off! ER doctor said He could have lost his foot! My dad had to stay in hospital for 2 weeks for his wound to heel.

A total nightmare! I reported Carol the head nurse to Dept. of Aging in Doylestown. My father had a wound on his ankle that went down to the bone. They never put fabric softner on the sheets and my dad would move his leg due to sciatic nerve pain hence the sheets caused a terrible wound that the nurse never looked at. I discovered the wound I took photos and immediately took my father to Abington Emergency Room. My father was in ICU for 2 weeks Dr. Rubin said he could have lost his leg. The facility was fined heavily. Cost to stay at this nightmare facility $ 5,000 a month! They let the residents wander the halls at night without locks on the door. A demented man entered my fathers room in the middle of the night and the man slammed the door on my dad’s hand. My father lost his finger nails! My mother was power of attorney battling cancer hence I did not have the power to move my dad. I finally was able to get my father into a better facility! NEVEREVERLEAVE A LOVEDONEALONE! CHECKONTHEM DAILY! Check their feet, their backs for wounds. Make sure they are being bathed! Make sure to remove their dentures to clean their mouth because the aids never ever do this and your parents can choke in the middle of the night on food matter. You need to be there everyday to check.
