Stopped by here during lunch hour. Was passing by this place and decided to check it out. Walked into the store and it was very small with no seating and the owner himself was at the counter. I explained to the owner that it was my first time here and he pointed to his menu and prices and told me if I had any questions to feel free to ask. After perusing through the menu I ordered the Frito Cheese dog, which the owner explained as a hot dog covered in cheese whiz and Fritos. Which sounded right up my alley! Only took about 5 minutes to grab. Grabbed my dog and a bag of combos and I was on the road. I gotta say it was delicious. I Definitely will be returning and trying more of the dogs on the menu. That was a damn good dog.

Aww man this is the place for good hot dogs or some cold melting home made chili. Delicious dogs, warm up chili, I also enjoy their occasional specialty dogs, such as the mac and cheese dog. When I bit into it I told the owner that it was«dirty sexy», when he asked what I meant by that, it means that the food is so good looking that you can’t wait to eat it but with the way it looks, it looks like you could really messy and you won’t mind it cause of the taste. This place also got my GF who doesn’t like hot dogs all that much to eat a texas tommy dog, ¼ Hot dog on a toasted bun with cheese wiz on top. Their chili so good all the vegetables and sauce so good to have on a cold winter/fall/spring day. The only bummer about the place is the parking cause there isn’t much room to move around before you’re in traffic and theres a telephone pole almost dead center of the parking area in front of the shops. but other then that food, atmosphere, prices and owner are all awesome

Kids love going here after school. Wish there was seating inside. The dogs are good, the kids love them. I usually get a brat or one of the sausage specials. One thing I would like to see is the cheese sauce kept warm. Got nachos once and the cheese was cold and got some on my sausage and it was also cold. Love this place though. We waited a long time for them to open and are happy they didnt give up.

A place that knows how to focus on making hot dogs from the basic dog to one with many toppings. Small place with no seating and not much parking.

Delicious hot dogs and great toppings. A great local place. Parking is minimal which is tough. I had the BBq dog and also have had a wiz and bacon dog. Both were amazing home cooking.

Stopped in on my way to Winter Wine Fest in Skippack, otherwise I would seldom have a reason to be in Hatboro, although it is a cool place. The man, himself, holds the fort @ Denny’s Dogs. It is a tiny shop in an old strip on Jacksonville Road. Parking is limited and difficult to negotiate. However, the Dogs are worth the effort. You can get them as you like them, and fix ‘em up with the extra relishes, peppers and table rockets full of mustard and ketchup. They are all beef, and the rolls have good body and size to fit and hold the extra sauerkraut piled high on top. When I was finished with my squirts and slices, I could still close the bun and bite into the creation without leakage. That is a major plus, as there are no tables in the shop now, and I was relegated to eating in my car on this cold Saturday afternoon. No fuss. No muss. The only downsides are the aforementioned parking, lack of seating, and the use of styro packaging. To save the planet, I would have been happier with a thick paper rollup, and paper towels rather than the thin napkins that require a handful to be effective. Still, this is a frankfurter lovers’ haven. If you lust for one sometimes, a place like Denny’s can be your port of entry to the Sea of Tranquility. Go ahead. You know you want one.

Great place to grab and go! The hot dogs are delicious, the buns are fresh and soft, and its super cheap. With a menu that has a huge variety including a Fritto Cheese Dog, BBQ Bacon Dog, and a Texas Tommy you definitely have to stop in and try one… or three. Just don’t be prepared to dine-in when you come, this is a to-go only establishment.

Locally owned hot dog shop that has a good variety of toppings, and serves a quality hatfield all beef hot dog(8 to a lb). Chili is house made and kept warm in a pot. Other toppings(mustard, onions, relish) are all good. Hot dog bun is fresh, but a bit too big for the dog. Dogs are roller cooked, rather than griddle which is a bit of a downside. Also has red hots, chicken hot dogs, bratwurst, beef and cheddar wurst. Small place with limited seating and only three parking places out front, just south of County Line and Jacksonville Road. Well worth the stop.
