Joe’s is a neighborhood place we always pick first. Lately, the wings have been pretty bad. The pizza is always fantastic which is the only plus. Ordered 24 wings tonight and 14 were edible. The others were dry, fried to the bone and resembled chicken knuckles rather than wings. These«knuckles» were the size on my pinky finger. Awful. Wish I would have made the trip back to show them in person how awful these were. Might have to consider Main Street Pizza as our first pick moving forward. Sorry Joe’s, you had us for a good while. but lost us.

Pizza was great! My husband and I go to produce junction next door on Sundays so we decided to give this place a try. I am glad we did. What I did not like was the counter person. it was like it hurt her to work on a Sunday. or to have the take our money L.O.L. Face soggy, looking like why are u here. what do u want? .not welcoming at all. I noticed that she was a teenager so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. maybe she partied too much the night before. There was a tip jar, so once we got the pizza I placed a dollar in the jar. well not one thank you. so no worries… that was her last tip. we are the paying customers. like I said Pizza is great here just need better counter help.

My favorite pizza place in the area(and there are a lot in Hatboro). Everything is always freshly made. Never had a long wait for delivery.

Not as good as it used to be months ago. Ordered a plain steak, got charged for a cheese steak Meat was tasteless and stringy. Will not be going back.

I really wanted to like the pizza here. 4.5 stars on Unilocal is a godsend, and the pictures looked great, so I was very excited. This place was hustling and bustling when I came in on a Friday night. Small dine-in area was filled, phone was ringing constantly, cooks in the background busy. The counter girls were very friendly, had smiles on their faces, and were patient as I ordered. So far, a five star experience. Got my pizza in good time and proceeded home. For me, the pizza left much to be desired. I found the pizza a little light on cheese, and the dough was a little dry, almost like a wheat pizza texture. And the crust was big, which means the cheese and sauce didn’t go far enough to the edge. It looked pretty, but didn’t wow me as expected. Ingredients seemed fresh; there just wasn’t enough of it… Outside of the pizza, everything was great — price, service, location. But pizza is a key element for me… So the hunt for good local pizza in the Willow Grove area continues.

Friendly atmosphere, got here late Monday night, when most places are closed this place was open. The staff was very helpful in helping me choose my eggplant parmesan. Food was a little bit too greasy for my liking but that is expected from a pizza joint in the suburbs. Spacious seating and very clean

Passed this pizza shop almost every day and always wanted to try it. It’s so good and it’s different the pizza sauce is swirled on top of the cheese. Very taste and reasonable price. I will definitely come here again. Also the service was really good.

Love their pizza and especially how their sauce is swirled on top. I am a sauce lover with my pizza and they have the best proportion of cheese to sauce. I always order them for a party.

Haven’t been in a long time but their chicken steaks and cheese fries are excellent! This used to be my favorite spot but have since moved :( The pizza isn’t good, usually way to much sauce and not enough cheese. The way they layer isn’t good either. But all in all a great place with decent food.

The best pizza I have had in a long time!!! Great crust, nice and crispy on the outside yet soft in the inside each and every bite. Good prices! Will be back!

I frequent Joe’s due to its proximity to my home and the fact it’s one of the few places in Hatboro that takes debit cards, but overall it’s left me somewhat unimpressed. The food itself is not bad, albeit a bit pricey relative to other pizza shops. The pizza can be inconsistent and the crust is not up to par with the rest of the pie. The dinners are decent though they staunchly refuse to include a salad with takeout orders which is utterly confounding. Perhaps my biggest gripe with Joe’s is the service: I consistently feel unwelcome in their restaurant. The counter staff members are not particularly friendly and make it seem like an inconvenience to serve paying customers. I probably would not patronize Joe’s if not for the convenience, though even despite this I’m compelled to try competing establishments to at least find better service.

Joe’s is great pizza. They use a different technique of putting the sauce over the cheese to make their pizza stand out. The prices are cheap and you get a lot for what you pay for. Everything is made fresh too as you wait. The dining area is a bit small, but I think they do more delivery/take out than eat in. I’d recommend the Hawaiian pizza, it’s awesome.

Joe’s has been my go to pizza for years. I love the flavor of their pizza and their thinner crust. It is not overly doughy and soft. The wings are decent, but if you like crispy, make sure you ask for«well-done». I also love their Caesar salad. Cheese steaks are not out of this world, but I still get them on occasion. I prefer their chicken to their steak. They deliver within 30 – 45 mins on a usual Friday night. 15 – 20 if you are picking up.

being able to walk to Joe’s was not the deciding factor in why I go there time after time, it’s the pizza. especially the buffalo chicken pizza. it’s really good when you get a large pie, not so much when you order a smaller one. I love the different pie sizes you can order because sometimes you just want a personal pizza and not too many places offer that at a decent price. the service is always great, the people are always friendly and there have only been one or two times where my order wasn’t ready when I got there. maybe I’m a fast walker…

As I went to Hatboro for some bakery goodies I was recommended to Joe’s Pizza for a quick bit to eat~ glad I was! I ordered an Italian Hoagie special, it came with chips and a drink for like $ 5, great price! The bread was good, nice Italian Roll. The meat and cheese were fresh, the onion were thinnly sliced(which btw is a MUST for onions on my sandwich and I will NOT eat them if thick or chucks!), the tomato was ripe and it all worked good together, tasted great! I got some O/V and mayo on it and it truly was good! They had several kinds of Potato Chips to choose from and the soda was a fountain type. I will definitely go back and try the other stuff but as for what I seen, it all looked good! Now I have another reason to go to Hatboro:) Already such a nice little town!

I had an appointment across the street and they were running late and I was starving. I noticed Joe’s and decided to see if they sold by the slice, which they do. I got a nice big slice of piping hot pepperoni pizza with a sprinkling of garlic and oregano. I was so hungry that I was eating it on my way out the door, burned my mouth it was so hot, but totally delicious, plenty of pepperoni to cover every inch, lots of good cheese and I loved the sauce and my fave baby, thin crust. The only thing I was disappointed in was, their daily special was two slices of pepperoni pizza and a soda for a few more cents and no one informed me, I saw it on a table tent, walking out the door. I was cool though, it satisfied my hunger and the slice was quite large. When in the area again, next time I’ll do it right!

I’m not quick with 5 star reviews, but this pizza is my favorite in the world. Me and my friends dubbed it «swirl pizza» since it’s made with the cheese on the crust then the sauce swirled on top. My parents live 20 minutes from this place and I always go out of my way to get some when in the area.

This Pizza is pretty good, we order it whenever we have a party and our family really likes it. It is heavy on garlic though, so for the regular repetitive pizza like 2 times a month it’s a little much for me. I’m not sure if they changed the recipe for the sauce — you’ll love it if you love garlic and give it five stars — just don’t order before you go out and meet anyone.
