Our wedding venue used Lochel’s for their wedding cakes and I did not have one complaint. We had a difficult time choosing our cake since all the flavors we tried were delicious. I can’t say how the cake tasted on the day of my wedding since I didn’t get a piece but the cake was beautiful.

Lochel’s is a nice place. Has ready to go cakes that they ice with a message on the spot, and they sell so many different pastries (almost too many tbh).
I guess I’m just very tired of the same old, dated looks that most bakeries around this area have. Everything just feels the same.

Best bakery in the area… PERIOD! I get cakes for every family members birthday/celebration from this bakery and am never disappointed. They always look good and the taste is consistently great every time. The people in the bakery are nice as could be. Perfect Bakery. This place deserves Jose’s love on Unilocal and they are receiving it. Keep up the good work and don’t change a thing.

Lochel’s has the BEST doughnuts. My husband passes 4 other bakeries to bring back their donuts on Saturday mornings. This is the only place we will order birthday cakes from and they are incredible– they still taste yummy and fresh days later.
We also love their specialty cupcakes around the holidays!

This is a follow up even though it is a bit late. We called or stopped in after each issue that was listed in the original review. If the employees don’t inform you when someone complains then it is not our problem. You hired them and they represent you. By the time you reached out, there was no reason for us to continue the dialogue. We hope that at this point you have resolved the issues you were having with your employees and they keep you better informed when customers are unhappy.

My family and I began purchasing baked goods from Lochel’s 10 years ago and now it’s our go to spot, no turning back. We have had beautiful birthday cakes, shower cakes, and more from Lochel’s. Their butter cakes are the best, hands down. The cream filled powdered donuts are so soft and delicious. The pound cake is phenomenal, especially with raspberry. Yumm! The «icing on the cake» (pun intended) is the beautiful decorating that both decorators do. They are out of this world with their piping and fondant work. Awesome! Highly recommend Lochel’s!

French toast cupcake is to die for! The kids love their s’mores cupcake. But, I don’t think there is much that they don’t like from here! The only bummer is paying for parking while you just run in to get goodies.

It’s been a year since I’ve posted a review about Lochel’s and I have to say they are truly amazing! The staff is always sweet to my daughter and they always call her by her first name which I love! They have such great pasties, doughnuts, cookies, cakes and have one of the best customer service I have ever experience! Best bakery in the area. Best donuts, puts dunkin to shame. The cakes are awesome. Everything is freshly made. I found this place randomly as it is one of the only bakeries opened on Sunday morning.

Lochel’s did my wedding cake back in September and it was amazingly good and beautiful. We did a three tier cake with buttercream icing, marble cake, and a chocolate fudge filling.
Just this past week, my mom got me a birthday cake chocolate cake and chocolate icing. It was great! We love Lochel’s and would definitely recommend it for your cake or cookie needs! Anything we’ve had has been awesome.

My husband and I were very impressed by the wedding cake that Lochel’s Bakery created for us. Let me tell you (and I am not exaggerating when I say this): it was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted! Lochel’s offers a lot of cake and icing flavor options. We chose a different cake flavor for each tier (pumpkin, chocolate chip, and chocolate). The bakery also did a phenomenal job with the wedding cake design. We will definitely return to Lochel’s to get some cookies for Easter.
