It is rare to find a restaurant in this part of the country, and even rarer to find a restaurant this good. Although the sleepy town of Hatch looks like nothing, it houses one of the best pulled pork sandwiches ever eaten. The chef claims that the pork is slow roasted for at least five hours, but I’ll bet it’s been days. The consistency of the sauce is perfect, smooth and not too sweet. A little bit of tang. The sandwich came out hot and steaming; and quite large too! They also serve steaks and seafood, but I’d be willing to bet their barbecue is the best there is. Any time you’re out in the middle of nowhere and need a great sandwich, stop here. This is the spot.
