Something is wrong with this world when a gallon of milk produced basically across the street from a grocery store cost over a dollar more than the milk said grocery store imported from California. This is what I learned during a quick and confusing swing into Genuardi’s. Listen to me people, do you really want milk that had to travel 3000+ miles to reach your morning bowl of fruit loops. I think not! Also the guy checking us out was as pleasant as a disgruntled toll booth operator. I don’t ask for much, just a little eye contact and a word or two that’s more intelligible than a mumbled grunt. One positive is they have a gigantic gift card selection, which was the one reason we actually went into the store in the first place.
