The phở is out of this world! First time I ever tasted vietnamese food, and I’ve been craving it every day since! We came in for lunch last Sunday…17 of us! Everyone was so sweet and accommodating! Cindy, the owner, and her family are adorable and they truely put their heart & soul into the food they serve! If you like coffee, you MUST try their iced coffee with«bubbles»…it’s a taste sensation somewhat like tapioca, and it’s a caffeine party you won’t want to miss. Next time I go(which will be asap) I will most definitely have Cindy order for me! And of course, get some phở!

The food here is good. The only issue I had as the service. It is terribly slow! I went 2x during lunch and only have a hour. There is only 1 person taking orders and running food. They need more staff. Food is good. Maybe it is different at night?

The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. We had the phở and both of us liked it. We will be back to try other items and desserts again. Out of the five phở locations we tried locally we put this at three of the five based on the same phở dish at each.

Last time I order from Saigon 2. Ordered two orders of phở with boneless chicken. Received two orders of tofu phở. Owner on cell phone while I waited an extra ten minutes after I was told it would be ready. In the hospitality business, customer service is the number one priority. Instead of playing on your phone you should be doing your job. Good luck

Delicious. No Sriracha or hoisin needed in the Phở. Ban MI was served in a hot crispy bun. Awesome find.

Poor service. Cashier talks on headphone as she’s checking us out… found hair in our soup. Phở definitely not fresh. Just poor bad service. Probably will only get take out.

Shrimp spring rolls to start and #23 Phở. Really impressed by the spring rolls; super fresh with a handmade outer sticky rice shell, great spicy peanut dipping sauce, and they were even huge in size. I come here for the Phở but everything else always impresses too.

Food was decent… for this area. It was just really dark — mood lighting? It took a while to order/ask for anything since this place is understaffed… but the employees that were there were helpful and hard working. What we got — Phở, summer and spring rolls, vermicelli. Rolls are always good.

We went there again for lunch and were amazed on our second visit. The server was super pleasant, our food came out quickly and was delicious. This time I got the Bun Bo Hue. Fantastic!

This is probably the best phở in the area. Their portion size is decent and they give you quite a bit of meat.

If I could only give place 0 stars I would. My family dined here and ordered the delight sampler, beef with rice, and phở. The Sampler was cold and all the meat smelled old and disgusting. You know the too long in the freezer kind of smell? Yeah that. The beef with rice so soooo salty and there was thick oil sitting on top of each piece. I’m Asian and coming from a family that loves hot and salty food this beef was way too salty for my taste let alone for anyone else! My husband was not happy with the food so he pointed it out to the waitress and wait for it… She said its salty so you have to eat it with the rice. What?!

Been going to Saigon II since shortly after they opened and before I began Unilocaling. My overall impression used to be that it was a no frills type place with excellent food; especially the phở. The beef broth was among the best I’ve had and I was a chef for many years. I understand cultural quirks, but rude, abrupt service is unacceptable. Couple that with a measurable decrease in the quality of the beef broth.(Too much MSG) and I won’t be going back.

I love this place! Simply said, they serve delicious food, prepared beautifully. Here’s what I like to eat: seafood noodle soup with egg noodles vegetarian or charbroiled pork bahn mi stir fried crispy egg noodles with seafood any of the bun dishes(rice vermicelli) to drink: three color drink Reading some of the negative reviews, I feel need to address some concerns… Service: I go for lunch. This is my experience. Cindy is so sweet and nice. She will greet you and tell you where to sit. The other server does not speak much English, and is realtively inattentive. Just give her the menu number for what you want to order. She will not greet you or speak with you. Or smile. Get over it. Oily soup: Um, that’s called flavor. Clear soups should have some amount of animal fat rendered during the cooking process. Clumped noodles: Um, that’s how it’s served. You need to move the noodles around in the soup to separate them before they clump. They don’t take AMEX: get a Visa card.

Ok, so Vietnamese is my fave and I have a spot in Chinatown(NYC) that is superb but I only get there a few times a year. This place is NO comparison but, it was ok. The hostess/server was rude. Never checked on us once, but sat across from us eating in between serving about 5 tables. The place is not the cleanest. My daughter got the Phở with shrimp and pork. Two pieces of shrimp, pork was inedible. Noodles were all clumped together. She did like the flavor. Spring rolls were good but portion was very small in comparison to any other. I got boneless grilled pork with broken rice. Ok, not like any I’ve ever had before. Doubt I would go back. There is a place in Allentown on 7th street but be prepared to wait. Better food and service, just not a great area.

Phở and nothing but the Phở lemongrassy noodley magic dam it! A perfect blend of all the goodies that make a great bowl of Phở can be found at Saigon. Service is solid, interior décor is nothing great. Just dam good food. TIP, eat in it much better than when you take out

Look. There is a wild range of reviews here. Let me simply sum it up for you. The food is authentic and very good. Ask the owner how to order like a native. If you got bad food it was an off day. The food is cooked to order. The service is slow and inconsistent. The people are friendly and care about making you good food. They are friendly but not there to be your best friends. Remember that not every culture acts the same in public. This is not a fine dining restaurant, nor us it an assembly line restaurant. Keep your expectations in line and you will enjoy. If you are the impatient finicky type, you most like will not.

I ordered the bun bo. It was good, but it was too much oil. They didn’t have the pig’s blood and pig’s feet with bones in there. The price is extremely overpriced. Phở large should not be over $ 7 The combo rice dish is $ 10 while in the NYC cost $ 7. Do note that NYC’s cost of living is a lot higher. I think they jack up the price because there’s no Vietnamese Restaurant around here. They don’t bring in a check to you. You have to go up to the cashier to pay and they don’t take American Express, which was a downfall for me since I use AMEX.

I tried Saigon 2 yesterday because I didn’t feel like driving all of the way to Telford. I was hopeful that the negative reviews were just reviewers that might be too difficult to please. I try to only post positive things, and take any complaints directly to restaurant managers. So, I was having a phở craving, and I was not disappointed. I had the 28b — vegetarian option with tofu. The broth was very flavorful with a nice balance of spice. There was a generous portion of tofu, carrot, celery, snap peas and the bean sprouts on the side were plump and fresh. The lime was fat and juicy and there was plenty of jalapeño and basil. I also had a fresh coconut water that had nice chunks of yummy coconut at the bottom of the glass. I’m giving 4 stars because I’ve only had the phở. I plan to go back at dinner with friends and try other dishes — saving room for an upgrade to 5 stars. It was lunchtime, and they weren’t packed, but had several tables going. My server seated me quickly, answered my questions and served me promptly. He came back to check on me a few minutes later. I was reading and didn’t need anything. There was no rushing me out and I felt very welcome. Cleanliness — Saigon 2 was very clean. The lobby area, tables and floors were all very clean. I was probably the first person to use the ladies room — it was immaculately clean. They had wi-fi which was very convenient for me to check my work emails and link to online content in my New Yorker magazine. They do accept credit cards but only on checks of $ 15.00 or more, so if you are solo, remember your cash!

Absolutely delicious & excellent service from the family owned restaurant. Our party of 3 started with the charbroiled pork bahn mi and pork spring rolls to split. Both were perfect. The bahn mi had nice flavoring with the cilantro and peppers. We had 2 orders of the pork broken rice and 1 order of chicken with lemongrass clay pot. All 3 were incredibly tasty, I would have kept eating if I had room! I would come back in a heartbeat.

I was on my way home and happened to find this place by chance. What a great find! I had the Phở and it was really good. It came in a large bowl with plenty of rice noodles and meat. Every time I eat at a Phở place outside of downtown Philly, there is either not enough rice noodles, meat or both. This place had plenty of both and I left actually full! Pricing was average for a bowl of Phở but you get as much as you would from a downtown Philly Phở place. This place was bright, clean, and there are were plenty of seating. There are a few TVs hanging up for you to watch while your eating. There is a traffic light to get in and out from any direction. The only disappointing thing about this place when I ate here was the avocado bobo tea. I don’t know if they messed up my order or not but I did not get any bobo in my drink. Was kind of disappointed but not the end of the world. The drink was good though! If you do order this drink, make sure to ask if it comes with boba or not because I’m not sure if this place actually has boba or not. I’m looking forward to eating here again the next time I’m in the area.
