My first visit with my sisters and we enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice… up for this nice little spot.

First time here. Had the Wednesday special. …½ fried chicken, mashed potatoes, turnip greens and a yummy cornbread muffin. Definitely would go back!

The burger is very very good. Pair it with the truffle, Parmesan fries and you will probably be happy. I have never had a bad cocktail at Branch and the one time I was hesitant about mine the bartender made me another one to try. I appreciate when the bartenders really enjoy making cocktails.

Hattiesburg needs more places like this. It’s a gem for the area. Hipster bar meets craftsman drinks & artisan food meets speak easy meets woodsman chic. I appreciate hipster waiters with gelled combovers and snazzy beards. They lost a star because the waiter didn’t tell us that they were out of oxtail (took us forever to decide we wanted it only to find out they didn’t have anymore), and he Didn’t tell us that the kitchen closed when we were ready to try the limited edition mardi-​gras bread pudding; would have been nice if he gave us a heads up by telling us, «hey just so u know the kitchen is about to close, would u like to order anything else?» Especially since he knew we were ordering several tapas that night. Anyways, everything we did get was delicious, including the drinks. Id definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to order anything on the menu.

Excellent food and service. I always find myself at Branch for drinks, food, and the atmosphere. It’s definitely my go to place, especially when impressing visitors!

If you have never been, you cannot understand how unique of an ambiance Branch offers, far separate of anything our beloved restauranteur offers. In addition to traditional and unique mid and top shelf spirits, Branch has a wildly eclectic drink menu unlike anywhere else in the Pinebelt. This place is a hip retreat from the hustle and bustle, always elegant and always low key. Branch also offers a food menu that is aspirational but on the lighter side, with exception to the branch burger. The burger is one of the finest burgers sold in the pinebelt. After eating about 6 burgers since branch opened, all thats missing now is the high quality thick cut bacon that was originally an option to add. And always go with the truffle fries :)

I had the branch burger. It was great and the fries were shoe string, just like I like them! The wait staff was nice. Ben the bartender made me a special drink with vodka because there wasn’t one on the drink menu. I would definitely come back here!

Best food, cocktails, beer selection and staff of all of Hattiesburg.

I visited this place on a New Year’s Eve during an out of town trip. I am honestly disappointed that I was not able to come back to this place again due to having to go home because it was the best place we tried in Hattiesburg.
First off, I LOVE the décor and the ambiance here! It’s so elegant and intimate, perfect for a date night spot. The servers were helpful, attentive and kept our table’s water glasses filled while we sipped on our cocktails (always a plus in my book). We got a series of their small plates, the Tuna Nachos, the Lamb, the Cheese Board, it was ALL FABULOUS! Our table even requested more bread for the cheese plate which also came with warm butter. Man you give a table of five people warm bread and butter and just count how many seconds it takes for it to completely disappear!
I also got the Ring Of Fire cocktail and really enjoyed the spicy kick it had. In fact, everyone at our table got a different signature cocktail and seemed to really enjoy it. There is a happy hour from 5−7pm that includes $ 3 off their signature cocktails so we even had that little perk going for us. All the signature cocktails all run at $ 9 a piece, so a good craft cocktail for $ 6 is definitely a worthy deal.
They even put foam on the bottom of the tables here for absorbing sound. That way even when there are lots of people here, it does not feel loud at all. So smart right?! I thought that was a neat discovery.
I wish I could have came back during my trip and checked this place out a little (or a lot) more but based on my one little experience I would definitely give it five stars.

Romantic date night, girls night out, business meetings… Perfect for any occasion! Everything on the menu from small plates to specialty cocktails will be a unique experience and will never disappoint. The evening atmosphere is sophisticated, rich, dark and cozy. Warm, friendly, knowledgable staff. You’ll want to repeat this experience!

Came here for a friend of a friend’s birthday. Nice outdoor patio, plenty of lounge seating, easy to get a drink, clean bathroom. Décor is very nice and hip as well.
Excellent service, good bartenders, reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a date night.
Parking lot is shared with other businesses but many many spaces are available.

What’s not to love? Upscale, relaxing atmosphere, great cocktails, VERY impressive wine and beer list, friendly bartenders, and amazing food. Perfect spot to take your date or colleagues.

I am IN LOVE with Branch. My favorite thing is the atmosphere: classy-​casual and conducive to conversation. The inside is cozy with very appealing décor, and the private outdoor patio is quite lovely as well. Perfect for an intimate evening out with a partner or for a small group of friends to sit and chat over drinks and tapas.
The staff and service are excellent, the cocktails are superb, wide wine selection, and fantastic, unique food. My favorite are the truffle fries (yes, really!). And – the surprise punch: they have the best burger in town.

Beautiful spot, especially the bar. I’m not a local and so can’t compare this restaurant to others in town, but I imagine if I did it would get a higher rating. This is from a traveler’s point of view. While my lunch was good, at roughly $ 20 (including gumbo, sandwich, and tea) I was expecting a little more. That’s a steep price for lunch, and it was just meh… not bad at all, but also not great.
The space is beautiful, with dark woods and mood lightening (Edison bulbs perhaps?) and the bar has a great rock wall behind it that adds a nice warmth. They have a few lounge chairs in the middle of the dining room, so I guess it’s meant to be a place people can chill with a few drinks? I will go back for a cocktail next week, but when I do I’m expecting it won’t be cheap.
It’s kinda odd though, but I guess the restaurant group that owns Branch opened several places in the same building? Apparently, there are actually four different options in the same building, but the menus are slightly different. Makes bar hopping easy, but is slightly odd. I was all excited about several different options for my two week stay… and then found out three of the four are in the same building! Locals rave about the restaurants, so it seems like it is the place to be in town, which does make sense. Check it out… you will probably be glad you did.

Wednesdays they do a fried chicken that is absolutely incredible. It is soaked in a sweet tea brine for one day, buttermilk for another day and then fried. It’s best described as incredible and maybe heart attack inducing, but well worth the risk!
It’s a nice place, warm wood floors, walls, and ceiling. Great bar. Service is great. This place is awesome.

Branch is the best thing to ever happen to food and drink scene in Hattiesburg. We are incredibly lucky as a community to have a place with the kind of beauty, expertise, and selection that Branch offers.
This is the best place for craft cocktails, bourbons, and wines in 90 miles. Walking in the doors of branch is like walking out of Hattiesburg and into New York.
Don’t be afraid to ask the bartenders about the flavors of these cocktails before you order them. The ultimate goal is for everyone to have an enjoyable experience.

Nicest bar in Hattiesburg. I had the lamb small plate with truffle fries for $ 7. Awesome. And it was delicious.
