Food is what you expect for a country buffet. I ate the fried catfish, pot roast, sautéed mushrooms, sweet potatoe casserole, and brisket. Worth the $ 12.00. People must like it, because there are some bigguns in here…

Good food, and a lot to choose from. The only issue we had was the mens room needed some attention(Yes this is second hand info from my husband)

A vintage country buffet, well-priced($ 10 for lunch) with piles of southern favorites by cooks who more or less know what they’re doing. Superb fried chicken, including livers. Fried catfish is fresh, not frozen. Sides were pretty good, except for mac and cheese, which was dreadful. Some of the sides had questionable seasoning – the pinto beans, for example, were sweetened and, thereby, not country«kosher.» Best of the best was the sweet potato casserole – rich with butter and candy-sweet, covered with melted marshmallows. A diabetic’s nightmare, but oh, so good. There’s a lot to choose from, so take tiny portions at first until you find your favorites, then chow down.
