This is a dangerous place to go to. Why you may ask. Well, you walk in wanting to buy all the things. ALLLTHEDAMNTHINGS. and I walked out of the store basket filled with yarns for crocheting. Spent a little over $ 60. I already want to come back wanting to buy more… also needing to buy more. My friend just mentioned that when making a blanket I would need to buy more than 1 yarn for that project. AND need to make sure it’s for the same dyelot. WTH! ugh. but this place is great. A lot of discount price including coupons.

I took up the wilton cake baking class here and enjoyed the course. The instructor is very good and she helps each one individually in the class. The place as such is expensive in terms of price. But this place typically satisfies all your art n craft needs.

Was highly impressed with this store and their prices! Far better then Michaels and other competition stores. Came in here on a whim and was surprised how great their stuff was. I am doing a lot of DIY projects for my wedding in September and was able to pick up a large collection of seashells, starfish and other assorted things for my projects. Can’t wait to get back here in the future.

Sigh. I love to hate this place. I say this because it makes me sad that AC Moore and Michael’s have killed art stores like Pearl and other mom ‘n pop type places where I used to go for all of my art supply needs. That being said, I can find most of the things I need here — paper, brushes, paints, ect. And every week they offer a 40−50% coupon which is good for one item that isn’t already on sale. No need to fret if you don’t get the Sunday paper chock full of circulars. Just pull up the website on your phone, go to store locator, and hit«get coupon». Show the coupon on your phone. Save money. It’s that easy. Plus, they take competitor coupons as well. Some salespeople are a little more lax as to your coupon usage, and will let you use more that one. If you need to get a few items, I say bring a friend and have them come on line with you. Yes, it’s somewhat frustrating — why not let people do two transactions, or apply the coupon in the same order? I know it can be done, because I’ve been given that courtesy on occasion. It’s not like I am one of those people at BBB with 500 coupons, usually just one or two! Bonus that AC Moore is usually a few bucks cheaper that it’s counterpart Michael’s. And super bonus — you can use your teacher/student discount in addition to your coupons or any other items on sale. An extra 15% sure does help. My last trip I got nice Winsor and Newton brushes on sale at 3 for 5, Liquitex acrylic tubes on sale at 3 for 10(usually $ 5 each) and an XL art bin regularly $ 36 on sale for $ 19. With additional discounts it was less than $ 40(counting for one set of the three paints, the other three were purchased the previous day). An art win!
