DOC Care

I am a patient of Carol Markowitz for several years and I have never met a professional caretaker more caring and patient and knowledgeable then Carol. Although there may be some negative reviews and that is common in any medical practice where there are no limits as to how many patients they except. They don’t turn away anyone and always have professionals on staff for emergency. The only time I had to wait was when there was an emergency and I was promptly notified from a very professional staff who go out of there way to help and make patients feel comfortable. Samantha, Veronica, Marie, Josie, Austin, and David just to name a few and the rest of the wonderful staff deserve a medal for what they do and I am so grateful
To
all the other doctors and specialists at Doc Care whom have helped me as well. And if everyone loves Carol then that says alot because she truely is a blessing and asset to Doc Care along with the rest of the other professionals. Thank you so much everyone at doc care for taking such great care of me. Love you all.

I have to strongly disagree with the comments below I’ve been a long term patient with Doccare and i couldn’t be happier with the services. From the moment i walk in the door to the moment i walk out the office has always accommodated my needs. Whether it be an urgent visit or a simple checkup they’ve always worked with my schedule and got me in in a timely matter. As far as Carol Markowitz she’s the most hands on nurse practitioner. She goes above and beyond to give me the care i need and more. I’d rather sit and wait to see Carol knowing that when its my visit she’ll take her time and fully examine my needs and treat me with proper care. When i call to get a refill or simply have a medical question Carol always gets right back to me and answers all my questions I’m never left worried or wondering about something. I’ve recommended this office to all my family and we’ve never had any problems i will continue to stay with this office

I am beyond fed-​up with this place. The people seem to be nice until you call and need something that does not fit into their day. THREE times I was waiting on results calls for seperate tests and they never called me with them, until days later I had to call myself and deal with Samanthat at the front desk who never lets you get a word in edgewise. The last time I called for results a woman who did not initially identify herself got on the phone to tell me everything was fine. Upon me questioning what was found during my sonograms it became clear to me she DID NOT familiarize herself with my file or history and was just rushing me off the phone, I later found out her name was Joyce and she is a nurse there. Every person I have dealt with at this place has no bedside manner and I will never go back. Oh and heres the KICKER… as Dr. Markowitz was reading me the results of my bloodwork she literally said to me «wikipedia is a wonderful thing» as she googled my results! I literally felt like I was in a twilight zone… HORRIBLE.

«Place is a dump!!! Unorganized is an understatement !!! Although front desk and nurses are kind. the female doctor who also takes the role of the office manger is a real WITCH! How she passed medical school is beyond me. I recently was misdiagnosed with a viral infection when two hours later i was rushed to the emergency room which they told me I had pneumonia. I WILL NEVER GO INTO THAT WALK IN CLINIC AGAIN OR SEND ANYONE THERE. The board of health should shut that place down !!! Place looks worse than penn stations bathroom.»
