Domino’s Pizza

Every time I have had dominos here it has been amazing. Best dominos I’ve had pizza from. They’re quick at getting you your food too. Oh, and the lava cakes. ADDICTING.

I have consistently disliked Dominos and would choose Pizza Hut anytime, but being here in Hawaii on Super Bowl Sunday I had no choice because the closest Pizza Hut was closed! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! So we ordered Dominos 2 pan pizzas with pepperoni and sausage extra cheese at no charge. The driver was fast, really nice, and was on his job! As a New Yorker, I loved that about him, took the money and was already off to his next delivery. The Pizza itself was good, much better than I remember. Crust was perfect much better tasting. I would still choose the Primo meatlovers from Pizza Hut, but Dominos really had my back when it came to the Super Bowl. Thanks guys, keep it up!

A lot better than expected
It’s been a while since we’ve had Pizza from Domino’s (…and that was on the mainland). We felt like Pizza that day… who doesn’t from time to time. And this one here was closest to our rental condo.
So we went there for a quick take-​out Pizza. Shop was pretty empty and the pizza was ready fast. Peperoni, mushroom, meat and pepper bells as topping. And we chose the thin crust.
And it turned out to be a really good pizza. Still hot, still very crispy and a good load of peperoni. Could be a bit cheaper though.
Since we were really satisfied with the Pizza we went back a few days later. A bit more customers this time, but still not a long wait. We used the coupons from the last pizza (were on the box) and got away cheaper than last time… and even one size bigger. Topping: Peperoni, onions, pepper bells.
And again… a very good pizza. Hot and crispy.
So Domino’s in Hauula is the perfect place to take out some good pizza. You could eat there… but only a few tables with parking lot view. Best to take-out…or let them deliver it.

I was there Saturday after completing the Spartan Race. I was sooo hungry. I ordered my pizza along with dropping an extra 5.00 for a tip. I was promised to have my pizza ready in 15 minutes. I reported back after 20min and was told that it wasn’t ready yet. I reported back 5 min later and i was told that it would be ready in 10 min. I reported back in 10 and i was told that it would be ready in 3 – 4 minutes. I reported back 10 min later and i was told that it was in the oven. mind you, I was inside of the restaurant the entire time. after 10 more minutes. i requested a refund. They cashier told me that the DRIVER took my order… once i received my refund i reached in their TIP CUP and took my 5 dollar tip back as well. I WILL NEVER EVER come back to this establishment again.

I don’t normally write a review for a fast food chain but I had to give props for this fine establishment. When I’m on the mainland I typically do not order out for pizza as there’s plenty of options for me to make on my own. While I’m on island I love this Dominos. Not just is the food fresh and tasty but the managers and the people working here are genuine and kind. It feels like family when I simply pick up a pizza or 5 :) .
The ingredients are fresh and as far as chain is concerned, this is the best Domino’s I’ve had. The pizza is always hot and it is fast. I order on my phone app and it’s ready in 10 – 15 minutes. Delivery takes a little longer but not a lot.

Yum! We got the 2 medium 2 topping pizzas, stuffed cheesy bread, and a 2 liter soda deal for $ 28.33. Not a bad deal as we had 4 people so we had more than enough for less than $ 10 a person. The pizza and cheesy bread was very good! The only downside was they didn’t deliver to our house even though we’re only 3 miles down the road :/

They are the best! We are frequent customers and I was disappointed in the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, but after calling the manager they replaced them with the best sandwich ever. Keep up the good work, fast service and quality food.

My fav pizza place!!! Always reliable and are always consistent when it comes to flavor. I’m a Dominos girl and will be forever!!! They have the best thin crust pizzas and I love replacing the regular tomato sauce for bbq sauce.

I ordered a philly cheese steak. The flavor is good, but when I opened the sandwich (because I couldn’t tell if it was mine– couldn’t see the meat) it had 2 – 3 tiny thin pieces of meat. Kind of a rip off for a $ 7 sandwich.

Fantastic service and friendly staff. Just left the store and didn’t get the managers name, but he took care of an order change for us and went above and beyond.

Super fast and everyone is very nice. It’s Domino’s, so it isn’t the best pizza in the world, but as far as Domino’s goes, this is a good one. Never disappointed.

Stopped and got two pizza’s, one of which was gluten free. Both pizzas were great, the staff was very nice. For a chain pizza place, pretty good pizza, will gladly come back… thank you!

After several failed orders at Pizza Hut, Dominos is our ONLY place for pizza!

We wanted a quick bite and since it’s Sunday (everything in Laie closes) we opted for Dominos. We went in and asked for a menu. An employee advised us they did not have any. She asked what food we were interested in and advised us what they had. We opted for two sandwiches and boneless wings. She said it would be 10 mins so we opted to sit outside and wait. While waiting I noticed the girl straightening up a prep station. It’s late so I assume prepping to close. In doing so, she licked her fingers and continued handling the ingredients. Not going to wash her hands for a good five more minutes. Only reason we got our food was because a guy prepared our order. However still hesitant to eat it! I’m sure it was only habit but when you work in a public eatery you have to be extra careful. Still haven’t ate the food!

I have just recently moved into the area where I can order pizza for delivery again! Yay! It has been several years now and I was excited to order delivery or be able to drive close by to pickup an order.
The person answering the phone was very helpful and helped me make my decision by telling me the specials. I ordered a med pizza and opted to pick it up. When I arrived I was greeted and my pizza was quickly fetched. The pizza was delicious and had a lot more taste than I remember dominoes ever having. The crust was great and it was cooked to perfection. I have since used them several times and the delivery was quick even in a fri.
If I have any problems it would be that the dominoes website is slightly hard to use due to having to sign in first every time and prices not being listed until final payment is made. I used to be a die hard papa john’s fan (I worked for them and another pizza place in Ohio so I’m kinda picky about my pizza) but I’m not on board with Dominoes and glad they have made the changes they needed to in order to stay competitive!

Update 1÷30÷13 … they are improving. Last order the pizza was perfect, and the chicken pieces count was exact. Guess these reviews do work afteral! Aloha!
Basically, I have had better pizza! At least, better prepared. I’ve had a number of problems with this Dominoes to the point that I have basically given up. Their prices are too high, and if you ask to swap, say, olives for pineapple … they charge you for an extra topping. No other pizza place does that. And, as already stated, their pizzas are not that well prepared. I’ve gotten pizzas with holes in it, pizza with fewer toppings than ordered … like ordering an extravaganza and getting something that looks more like a cheese pizza. Sometimes I’ve even gotten a slightly warm pizza, and I live less than ten minutes from the place. Oh … hate their chocolate lava cakes … the lava tastes water-​downed. On the other hand, they have great chicken pieces, though you seldom get the amount you paid for. Anyhoots … maybe you’ll have a better experience with them … they do have a great sauce!

I just tried this place yesterday, and it knocked my socks clean off.
I called up STARVING to place an order for delivery — that’s when the magic started. For the very first time IN MY ADULT LIFE, the person manning the pizza phone was nice and energetic. It threw me for a loop at first. I asked if there was a minimum order amount to get something delivered (there isn’t). Then I asked the different sizes and costs (a medium @ Domino’s is 12″ in diameter, in case I’m not the only one in America who doesn’t know that answer). Then I asked for «a Hawaiian» … and the girl on the phone chats me up about the «Honolulu Hawaiian» for a good minute! She was really stoked about the difference — and sold it, too.
YOU WANT TO GET THE HONOLULU HAWAIIAN.
This place is THE BEST for several reasons:
1. The girl taking orders on the phone should be a radio talk show host: she’s that good.
2. The pizza was at my door in 20 minutes!
3. The pizza delivery guy could totally have topped Ol’ Girl On The Phone in niceness and professionalism.
4. The pizza was MUY DELICIOSO! Ridiculous good, even.
I used to be a Papa John’s junkie, but forget about it: I’m all Domino’s, all the time now.
Can’t speak for the other Domino’s, but the Laie one is magnificent. :D
