Ended up coming here because the restaurant we were suppose to go was closed. Environment is not so awesome, but, food was good. Authentic korean cooking with a touch of the hawaiian plate combo. Very affordable. Place was empty at first but, slowly got busy– — too busy maybe that they must have missed placing our order, because 3 other people after us got their orders first. Anyway, they don’t have a restroom so don’t drink too much. I did get that impression that locals go to this restaurant. It was almost the end of their shift that’s probably why they missed our order, but they deserve the 5-stars for their food. It was certainly worth the wait.

Pretty good BBQ here. I Love their meat jun, it’s really the only thing I get, and one of the best I’ve had. My friend usually gets their kalbi which is decent. Wait time is usually 15 – 20 min. So call ahead if can. It’s a small hole in the wall place directly across North Shore tacos in hauula. A lot of locals frequent this place. There’s no customer service so don’t count on getting that, but they do make good korean bbq. Worth trying if you’re making your way to north Shore. A bit pricier than yummy or L& L. 9.50 meat jun. $ 12 kalbi.

We stopped here for a late lunch. Hubby had the chicken katsu and I got the kalbi/chicken combo. Both were delicious! The kimchi was fresh and flavorful.

Hole-in-the-wall restaurant but the food here was awsome! Will return to this restaurant eventually. ‘:)

We had Kalbi ribs and very disappointed it’s not that big think juicy kind like in papa olé, not worth the price, I would go across the highway to eat at Papa olé. I only had it once and don’t think I will go back. The returner is small and dirty too not a comfy place to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Not so great, hit and miss. The fish jun was tasteless, the breaded shrimp was soggy. Ribs were good, so was the bbq beef. Loved the veggies that come on the plate, but the meal was unremarkable. After having fantastic food our whole trip, this was a disaappointment.

Go here frequently. Just moved to area and miss good local Korean cuisine. Place is small and looks kind of run down on the side of a convenience store but don’t be fooled. My favorites are the shrimp stir fry, spicy BBQ chicken and the steak stir fry. Free water is a plus while you eat or wait. No other Korean for a good distance should ensure the owners success.

Delicious food. Awesome kim chee. And good prices! The only downside is the environment isn’t awesome. It’s a small place, kind of run down. I got the spicy BBQ chicken and it was sooo good!

my first time trying Korean food, and I’m hooked. I love this place, not to eat in, but definitely to take out. my family ordered a few dishes and shared. their fried rice is probably the best thing on their menu!

Awesome Korean food! Tried this place for the first time with my husband and we were both a bit hesitant but it turned out to be delicious! I had the bibimbap($ 7.50) and he had Kalbi and BBQ beef($ 9.50). Not bad on the pricing. Only downside is we bought a small drink, but there were no free refills. We’re definitely going to come back again though since we found this place to be the best place around here!

It’s your average Korean BBQ diner. A little on the pricey side but I would return, since it’s the only Korean BBQ in Hauula.

delicious. i think it’s the best of all the food trucks in the same complex. we had the kalbi and dumplings. kalbi was good, dumplings were home made but not as good as my mom’s. i don’t recommend you get the dumplings. giovanni’s shrimp truck is always busy with tourists but locals don’t go there. it’s not very good. i do not recommend.

We’re somewhat new to Korean cuisine, but as far as we could tell, this place is great! Well, as far as the food, anyway. The ambiance is impressively bad – huge photos of Korean food completely block the windows so it’s quite stuffy inside. So, we got carryout. I got the bibimbap(see photo). Good choice for vegetarians – while it does contain beef, it’s served on the side(you could probably ask them to leave it out too). The main focus is the veggies, which were fresh and delicious. I was able to request for the egg to be well-done. The dish came with a really great spicy plum sauce. Good portions for being around $ 7. My partner enjoyed his meaty combo meal. We also ordered the $ 7.50 seaweed soup, which was tasty and came with its own big carryout container of rice, 3 kinds of veggies, and some amazing macaroni salad. The person working there was very friendly and sweet. Accepts credit cards!
