Jay Oku

I couldn’t sleep well tonight and decided to do some late night Unilocaling. I looked at a message from a Jay O. who’s ticked about one of my reviews. He tells me he knows the owner of the mortgage outfit I reviewed and that the guy is basically dandy. Jay Oku then goes on about my bad publicity and the black eye I’ve inflicted on said business. The problem with all of this is that Mr. Oku didn’t disclose that he’s also in the mortgage business. Seems like a conflict of interest not giving me this particular bit of knowledge.
Here’s what compelled me to write this review. Mr. Oku, of TeamOku Mortgages, seems to love social media when it’s in his favor, but doesn’t grasp he can’t control others (moi) when they’ve had a bad experience with one of his friends and/​or associates. I’ve never had someone bold enough to scold me over a review when all I did was convey my experience. So in summary, Mr. Oku needs to focus on his business and not worry about his industry buddy.
I didn’t contact Jay Oku, but he did contact me with regards to the mortgage business, so I feel this review is fair game. I struggled with trying to find the right address to associate this Unilocal review with Mr. Oku. If you do a search, results come back with many different companies and addresses between California and Hawai‘i.
