I wish, oh do I wish that I could give 0 stars. I was literally stranded with my family in groveland and needed to get home. The jerk that answers the phone didn’t have a cab for 5 and wouldn’t send 2 cabs for us… They also charged us 70 $ for the ride… Half of my family took and über and they only charged 30 for that ride. They aren’t nice at Family Cab. Never again.

Awful awful awful. Operator needs serious training in common courtesy and manners. Someone please please open a new company. After a fitful conversation I gave up and resorted to über. He didn’t know up from down and missed out on a $ 50 round trip fair.

My daughter just had the worst cab ride from A Family Cab. They didn’t know the address (no GPS), the driver called her a bitch. They had a fight and she made him stop the car and she got out. She ended up getting back in the car and then he charged her $ 25 to drive 3.7 miles.
The dispatcher was also rude to her and it took 25 minutes for the cab to pick her up.

I called yesterday to book a car for an early morning flight out of Manchester and had a less than stellar experience. The gentleman told me they’d have to find someone to take the call since it was close to the shift change time. He then asked for my cc number to reserve the ride — I asked if there would definitely be someone to take the ride and he replied, «Well, I’ll HAVE to find someone or my boss will fire me.» He proceeded to take my cc information and became so frustrated with doing so that he eventually said, «F@$& THIS! I can’t take it anymore!!», dropped the phone and continued screaming profanities in the background. Needless to say, I ended up using another provider (DK Airport Service) to go to Manchester airport and they were WONDERFUL!

I always call this cab place when I plan on drinking downtown. Most places they will bring you for 10 – 12 $ (and that’s border hopping from NH to MA too!). They have some real characters driving, and I like them. They are reliable and fair. woot!
