Can’t beat this place. Fresh bread, quality meats, fresh veggies and excellent customer service. I’ve lived in Haverhill and always passed by but never stopped in; until today. I can’t believe the size of these monsters. The large sub is almost as long as my leg!

Holy hell. Meat for days.(Insert all phallic meat-y innuendo) But seriously, Benedetti’s knows how to do a sub aka Rocket. For some sad sad reason, I have not been able to find a quality sub that packs in the meat(ugh, the jokes are TOO easy!) with quality ingredients in Minneapolis. So I was ecstatic to come here on my visit home for the holidays. I ordered the Nero — Pepperoni, Mortadella, Cooked Salami, Ham, Genoa Salami, Sweet Cappicola & Provolone Cheese — and fried mushrooms. I ordered a «small» rocket for $ 6.99, and dear lord carrying this thing to the car was a workout. The hype is real — these babies are HUGE. And to top if off, they’re delicious. The bread was both crispy and chewy(but not too much), and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The small order of mushrooms was generous too. This made 2 full meals for me, with some leftover. I just want to shake the hand of anyone who can eat a large in one sitting. That is so admirable and pretty freakish.

A delicious new addition to Benedetti’s menu-Chili with cheese on top. Benedetti’s Chili has a savory taste with plenty of ground beef, chili beans and a just right spicy kick to it. It’s the right time of the year to have a cup or bowl of Benedetti’s Chili with our New England weather, yummmmmmmy.

I drive 100 miles from Effingham N.H. To get a Rocket for my wife and I and our next door neighbor. My neighbor says awesome sandwich ! We need a Bennedettis North!!! Can’t get a better sandwich anywhere !!! By the way, my Uncle served in the Army with BoBo!

Absolutely love Benedetti’s. Every sub we have had has been fresh and filling. My favorite is The Marc Anthony. I also like the Crispy Chicken Club with mayo, it comes with ranch dressing but I prefer mayo. My family has been going here since the 70’s. We drive from Amesbury for their subs. We also bring them with us when we visit family in Northern New Hampshire.

If you are in the mood for a large sub, cheap price, in THIS are of town order the Cleopatra or Turkey and Bacon sub. Also, ask for Mary to make it — she is THEBEST! French fries are delicious, but bummed out they do not make Steak & Cheese subs.

The Italian sub and Buffalo chicken sub were great. Their large size sub was the length of about 3 normal sized subs!

My family has been going here for as long as I can remember. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Great place to grab a quick sandwhich. This place has been around forever and has always been consistently great. I highly recommend.

If you’re in the mood for an Italian sub in Haverhill, this is definitely the place to go to. The quality of the meat here is on point, and the service is always good whenever I come in. The one thing that really sets this place over other places, is that they are the only sub place that knows how to put together a cold cut sub!!! How hard is it for the other places to put the meat and veggies in properly so everything doesn’t fall out when you take a bite! I personally recommend getting the Nero when you come in here!

Unbelievable sango — a must stop every time I’m in Haverhill! Go with the large Nero!

Holy yum for your buck! As an «out-ah-stat-ah» I had not clue what to expect except that it had good ratings on Unilocal. Store area: We live in a little town in Maine so I was little hesitant on parking on the side of the street in a densely populated area, but I put on on my big town shorts and knew it would be ok. The store: Cute and smaller than I expected, but it ain’t the size of the… Oh wait G rating. Anyways, clean and well organized. Service: Friendly and super fast. The food: I thought they gave me a large instead of a small, but it really was a small. Wow. Fresh bread, deli meats were amazing, and even the cheese was good for a regular old Italian. Price: For a small Italian and a wrap I think I may have paid 12 bucks, but like I said the small was huge! Overall: Awesome, friendly, and yummy!

The worst customer service I’ve received in my life. Man denied us appetizer after payment on a pick up that we had a receipt for within 10mins of purchase. Disturbing… I would recommend unless you like you meat on top of your veggies and hots! Unheard of?

The Rockets are the best. We hit it on our way up to Maine or NH. Huge sandwiches at a great price. A small will feed two hungry people for lunch, easy. Though I’ve powered through a small in one sitting. A large is the length of your arm, that alone makes this place #1.

I personally saw fantini’s deliver the bread to Bobo’s uncovered. They left it out front on the side walk. And the bread is always hard!

Fantastic giant subs; very friendly and helpful staff. Last time I was there, they accidentally made a full rather than half that I ordered Rocket, and they gave it to me for free. Will be back!

A historical Haverhill gem that makes subs like no other. This sub shop stands out from the rest. Fresh bread from the bakery across the street, quality deli meats and creative menu items. Benedettis is a must go in the area. The people are so generous. One time I went and left my card at home and they said«hey don’t sweat you can come back later» and I did. Very hospitable people. My only wish is that there are tables and chairs. This place always had the walk in and out style but other than that, by far the best and only place you should get subs in the city, for the quality and the cost.

These subs are HUGE! And very cheap for what you get. They are about a foot and a half long and made on very fresh bread. My favorite is the Ruben loaded with fresh shaved corn beef, Swiss cheese, and tasty thousand island dressing. I order one of these during a football game, eat half during the 1st game, then polish the rest off at night during game 2! Pass

They did go through a renovation. I wrote the review because I had been going there for years since I was a kid, and it was always greasy and they did use a broan fan that didn’t vent outside.(I SELLTHEM, I KNOWITWASTHERE). I sold Mary Benedetti her kitchen years ago personally. They have updated and their food is just as good, but the look is much better now as well. I wasn’t meaning to offend anyone, I was just working off how Benedettis USEDTOBE. Good job on the updates!

Awesome sub for the money. If Mary is there its a 100x better, her brother is an sshole. Just sayin… but the ingredients are fresh and she’s as sweet as they come…

This has been a place the Northern Essex College crowd has favored for years because of the mass quantity at affordable prices, that’s how I was introduced to it. Food– It’s the flat out best sub shop in the area. The«rockets» are 2 feet long and come loaded with everything, no skimping here. They have all your classics like ham, roast beef, turkey and tuna, but ever wanted a sub with 4 kinds of animal on it? Try the Caligula with veal, meatball, chicken and sausage. The Chicken Cordon Bleu and Heartstopper subs are my favorite. All sorts of sides including fries, mozarella sticks, chicken fingers and wings and salads are also available and the drinks are in the fridges like at most stores. The bread is delivered from the Fantini bakery right across the street each day and is always fresh. Price– Cheap eats. A half rocket costs between 5 and 7 bucks and a full between 9 and 12, bucks depending what you get. Service– It’s been family owned since the 60’s when the late owner«Bobo» founded it and his kids work there now. They are proud of the legacy in town and are friendly and remember faces. Atmosphere– There’s no seating and it can be cramped inside when ordering. The neighborhood is not as bad as it’s made out to be, but do lock your car. Great place, friendly people and quality subs the size of a kid’s baseball bat? Yes please.
