Worst Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. Taco beef was a texture I’ve not tasted before and the salsa had no taste. Pleasant servers. Good atmosphere.

Been here a few times since my last review. Happy to say last night’s visit was just as good as my first. We were lucky to find a seat at the bar. The bartender did an awesome job and the food quality was delish. I like Mojito’s and this place makes an awesome one. I had the California Burrito Wrap and it hit the spot. I’m not a fan of the salsa but that’s my preference only.
Good job, I’ll be back!

5÷6÷2016. Dinner was really good. Started out with house margaritas and house chips. Salsa was a (7). Seamed homemade. We had 2 meals the tacos al pastor (9). Very nice touch of shredded cabbage. I had the Cancun chimichanga, seafood with tomatillo sauce. Lots of real crab meat. (9).
Very pleasantly surprised.
Services was good.
I’d recommend and will be back.

Worst place I have ever been! Waited 10 minutes for a waitress to order drinks. got up from the table for a smoke twice both times came back with new people sitting at our table, each time the table was cleared of drinks and food, cold food, waited 15minutes for a manager and he told me I have people waiting on me! His reasoning for this was because we are in down town Haverhill! I said I will never come here again he said «that’s your choice» I have had bad experiences at a restaurants before But NEVER to this magnitude

The food here is amazing! My only complaint is that they often forget to include everything in our order, so we have to go back often and get the various missing items. Luckily, I live downtown and only a few minutes away, but I’d feel bad for other customers who go through the same hiccup and have a longer drive :(

Prompt service, good hostess, great waiter. The guacamole is very very good. The burritos are also very tasty. I got the Verde pork burrito and put some additional queso on top — BRILLIANT. Overall very good spot

Not sure why this place is so bad. But I think its poor management. Its dirty and the food is very sub par.
The parking is a mess because its crowded… go figure.

Went there Saturday night and was seated right away for a party of 5. The salsa and chips were brought to the table. The salsa was so fresh and the incredible! We were asked right away if we wanted tableside guac (which we did) I have to say it was the best! Better then the other Mex places by far! Drinks were well done and food was awesome. Great place!

They bring you chips and salsa within 60 seconds of sitting down. And the salsa is unconventional and amazing.
The food is authentic, properly portioned and well flavored.
Staff is quite friendly despite the few one star reviews here.
Worth a trip– try the pork taco al pastor with

Went again for lunch and the taco salad in the edible bowl was AMAZING! It’s not some stale tortilla bowl. It took a bit longer but it was hot and freshly fried and filled with barbacoa goodness’ if a Mexican place gets a salad this good I can’t wait to go back for dinner!

I’ve been to Casa Blanca a handful of times in the past six months and the quality of the food has been steadily declining. The first time I ate there, I had a vegetarian platter which was under-seasoned and lackluster at best. The most recent time, I had a veggie burrito that was composed of mostly white rice, a scattering of bland black beans, about five undercooked carrot coins, maybe three random lima beans and one lone kernel of corn. The only seasoning I could detect was the strange green sauce poured on top. I think, if I do return again, I’ll just have a beer with the chips and salsa.

We drive right by another Mexican place to go to this one. Its great! Chips and salsa are awesome. Tacos are amazing, especially the shrimp and bacon ones. Husband had carnitas tacos and was thrilled. We’ve been here three times, and every time we are suspicious of how nice the staff is. Because they are super super nice. really — I try not to judge on service but just have to say they’re great at Casa Blanca. We’re going back to try everything. The one star reviews below are lame.

The food is great! Margaritas are wonderful!
I have to give a big compliment to the staff. We visited in July. My younger son is disabled and many times servers ignore him. Our waiter — Nick, I think — was wonderful. He asked several times if my younger son needed anything. When the meal was over, he brought both my sons balloons and tied my younger son’s balloon on his chair. I know it might not sound like much, but it was a big deal. I will be back often.

Ugh so awful. The service was beyond slow, the frozen margaritas were weak and watery, the Mexican food was AWFUL, and the worst part was the flan. The flan was the wrong consistency and was just sad. The whole restaurant was a let down.

I should have realized how bad this place was when i first tried to get in the front door. It was locked at 11:45 am. The hostess thought she was being funny when she finally unlocked the door but I had no humor at this time.
The food lacked flavor and spice. When I received the plate the only thing that was hot was the plate. The burrio was luke warm, maybe a bit warmer then luke warm. I was not served any salsa or chips and when my waitress asked I was already half way through my lunch.
The staff was very unattentive and was hanging decorations for a holiday coming up in two weeks. They were climbing over tables, using the seats as ladders and were not cleaning up after themself.
The best advice i have would be to find another place for good mexican food. This place was not worth it.

After being totally spoiled from frequent troops to Mexico and living in
standards for Mexican are pretty high…
From the black bean and lime salsa to the street tacos this place is where it’s AT!
I CANNOT get enough, the most authentic Mexican I’ve found on the East coast.
Service is great, prompt and polite. The décor is fun and festive and the drinks are good.

1^st time going to casa blanca was amazing! From waiter to food and drinks!
My waiter was a guy very friendly and trying to engage conversation! Really liked him a lot very attentive.
I order chicken quesadilla is was good ! Their mango margarita amazingly delicious just wish they had bigger cups!
Now I went for the 2^nd time, let’s just say I won’t go there for a while this time we had a waitress and she didn’t really care very not caring and BLAH! Our food wasn’t as great! It wasn’t just good at all. Reasons for this is a 3 star.

Paid a visit for a weekend lunch. Mixed expectations, as I’ve had takeout from their NA location and it was disappointing. Staff were professional and attentive and they have done a nice job on décor and atmosphere here in Haverhill. They have a decent selection of tequilas and a few Mexican beers on tap (Negra Modelo, my fav!). I ordered chili roja which was absolutely delicious, and the wife had carnitas which came out lukewarm and lacked flavor. The menu branches away from your typical Americanized Mexican food but it feels like they are playing it safe; how about some ceviche or at least garnish with some sliced avacado or jicama slaw. My red chile did come with a salad of cilantro and onion which was quite nice, and I guess that’s considered adventurous here in New England. But I would go back here and hope the menu branches out over time… ceviche some day!

I’m so excited that Casa Blanca opened a location in Haverhill. The food and the drinks are extremely tasty. I had the three enchiladas combo (shredded chicken with three different sauces). The verde was the most delicious and I would probably order an entire plate with this sauce. The food order came out quickly and the staff was just fantastic, so helpful, so nice, great service.
I was very disappointed in the atmosphere– although they made some changes from the previous bar at this location (new paint, chairs and tables) There were a lot of outdated left overs (i.e. it would have been nice if they update the old hotel– looking carpet and in general the bar area). This building has been many bar/restaurants over the last few years and unfortunately they all start to look the same.
