Maybe if there wasn’t construction going on outside of our room at 8am things would have been better, but they were. so it wasn’t. We stayed here for a wedding party and it wasn’t terrible but it was no Marriott. There was a lot of construction going on so I gave them the benefit of the doubt but the next morning was horrendous. After taking a shower I thought the construction workers were going to bust down our door. It was OBNOXIOUS. When we were checking out, there was a ladder right by our door, people had to move out of the way and we had to go around all the workers. We complained to the front desk and they comped our room, there was no way we were going to pay for that room. Other people that were there as well were very unhappy. The breakfast bar is hardly a breakfast. It is just tons of processed foods and concentrated juices. They do have a Belgian waffle maker but the mix isn’t that great. Overall we would never stay in a Comfort Suites ever again.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good price. Not real easy to find, though. You can see it right behind Walgreen’s, but you have to go down the road a ways, past the Dunkin Donuts, to the turn in for a car dealership, then go to the dealership and turn up and behind the dealership. Try doing all that right the first time at 11pm when you’ve been on the road since 4am. LOL!

We called ahead and booked a room with two double beds and a sleeper sofa. The lady we made the reservation with assured us that we would get the sleeper sofa. Unfortunately, upon checking in we found out that she never put our request into the system for the sleeper sofa. Now I’m 6 ft tall, so I really can’t sleep comfortably on a roll away cot, but I decided I could make do because there were no other rooms available. Upon getting to our room, we discovered cigarette burns all over the carpet of our«smoke free» room. Also, the door handle to the bathroom was installed backwards so that simply bumping into the door would cause it to spring open. The icing on the cake was when our toilet wouldn’t stop running and we had to call maintenance. As it turns out, he had no experience with plumbing whatsoever and my mother knew more about how to fix it than he did. The only thing keeping this from being a 1 star review is the friendliness of the staff. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

This place is by no means bad. It’s been remodeled. They have lots of parking and the«extensive continental breakfast» is quite good(they even had a belgian waffle iron). While they don’t have a pool or gym, they do have washers and dryers for clothes if you need it. My main complaint was that out room(227) smelled of smoke, most likely from the years when it was allowed. The hotel was fully booked during our stay, otherwise, we would have changed rooms.
