Mediterranean Pizza & Subs

6 $ pizzas on Monday and Tuesday are great, if you can look past the rude treatment from staff, who always sound annoyed when you mention the coupon/​deal.
I’ve gotten unprovoked attitude from a number of them, but there is one very professional guy (probably the owner), who seems genuinely appreciative to get your business.
He also makes the pizzas noticeably thinner, which I like, with a fair amount of cheddar (what Greek pizzas are known for), while the others tend to skimp on the cheddar and overload you with bland cheese on a doughy pie. Still good, though.

After being a faithful customer for over 5 years. I placed my usual order on Sunday night. My brother always gets a cheeseburger. 5 hours later he had total food poisoning. I called and spoke to the manager «Frank» and was basically told «so what prove it » I was offered nothing in return or any cordial customer service. Never again will I order their food. Shame on them.

I live nearby and go here once in a while, they do large cheese pizzas on Monday and Tuesday for $ 5.45, which is a good deal. the salads are super fresh, and the 2 subs I have tried were very good as well.

Only reason why I’m giving it two stars is unfortunately the pizza did upset my stomach a little later on after I ate it. But it was not too bad. Kinda greasy but hey it’s pizza. Reminds me of Salisbury House of Pizza a little bit. Crust was good too. Other than the stomach issue, this pizza wasn’t bad.

I ordered $ 50.00 worth of food here and it was awful! Roast beef sub was so stringy it was inedible. Chicken fingers were greasy and salad brown. The only reason I went there was because they were open late. Don’t go!

The Best Part: for those of you that don’t know — they offer a FREE small cheese pizza if your order is more than $ 20 but you have to ask!
Besides that, their Steak Bomb subs are great, but the large are quite small. They are a little over priced for the amount of food you get too. But they always have delicious pizza. I seemed to visit them better when they were on Winter Street, now that they are out of the way on Kenoza I dont go too often. Not a great place to visit in the winter because all of the seating is near the door way so when people come and go you are too cold.

I give them three stars because I made my order but got the wrong soda, and didn’t get my dessert which I would’ve thought they would’ve brought to me by realizing it and that didn’t happen I shouldn’t be calling and complaining they should be on their toes wanting to make sure their customer gets what they ordered which I really didn’t… The food was good but seeing that some things in my order was wrong or missing… I didn’t like that at all.

I live extremely close to this place, so I come here often. I find that some menu items are a hit or miss, so I generally stick to the few things I know I like from there. The chicken broccoli Alfredo pasta is very good! The chicken especially is really yummy. The pasta is always overcooked, but I’m just so used to it that I never expect it any other way. Another really good item is the chicken Caesar wrap. Yummy! The onion rings and spicy fries are also good, but I think there sizes run a little small. My boyfriend usually gets a calzone and those are always good.
I always stay away from their small subs and greasy pizza.
The staff is always extremely friendly. I never encountered a bad experience here.

Always friendly staff and they seem to care about what they do. Sometimes the tables are a little dirty or sticky, but the food is always good.

I have had Mediterranean before and have always enjoyed their subs and pizza. However, tonight we had an craving for fried seafood but didn’t feel like braving the cold. So, knowing that we already liked them we decided to try their seafood plates. Wish we didn’t. So disappointing :(
I posted a picture. Everything, in my opinion was over breaded and very over cooked. We barely ate it and we’re totally bummed out. We will never be ordering seafood from there again.

OK so call me «Debbie Downer» but I’m not a fan of the pizza. This is Greek style and I just don’t like the crust. If you are a fan of NY style or thin crust, this isn’t the place for you.
The spanakopita will do in a pinch when you are really craving it and need it now.

Mediterranean is a pretty typical Greek pizza and sub shop.
The pizza is fine and the subs are tasty.
I was disappointed by their gyro but so few places do a real gyro these days. (Incidentally, if you want a GREAT Gyro try Queens in Lowell).
If you’re local and looking to grab a chicken parm sub and a Moxie then this might be the place for you. It is NOT a destination worth driving to by any means.

This is our go-​to place for great pizza. They are open until 11 pm most nights.
They also have the usual pizza house fare, subs, some pasta and salads.

I agree with all the reviews. Their pizza is great… especially the rustic style. I prefer their sauce which is flavorful and not sweet.
Try the cold vegetarian in a wrap with the fixings and cheese (just a smidgen of mayonaisse). YUM! It’s Filling but doesn’t stuff you up to the gills. Mediterraneans has been around for years. Their Gyros used to be better but it could have been an off night when I got it. The variety is vast and you are sure to find something. An old Haverhill favorite!!!

How has this not been reviewed? This place is wonderful!
Located on 110 down the street from NECC and busy downtown Haverhill this place is amazing. The selection for things is out of this world and no one in the Merrimack Valley has a better BLT wrap! This is such an easy stop and has always been an excuse to go to Haverhill.
The staff is courteous and I would advise calling ahead as I have waited in the lunch line and a call will make your wait much quicker and smoother.
The parking lot is small but still provides room for a lot of spaces.
