Such a fantastic place to enjoy great food and nice staff. A hole in the wall kind of place so the earlier the better for seating. The food is amazing!

Had breakfast here this morning on a recommendation from my future son in law. It was as advertised. Clean, with great staff and wonderful comfort food. I had the Raff, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, white toast and home fries. The coffee was hot and no problem getting refills. Parking was easy right outside the front door. I highly recommend you try this neighborhood gem.

This place was a decent breakfast find, met with a friend for breakfast, the pancakes are huge and looked delicious… lots of variants of add ins. I opted for eggs bennidict and it was just alright, the english muffin could have been a bit more toasted it was super soggy. The ham was awesome though and nice and thick and the eggs were a bit under poached. Waitstaff was very attentive and very nice even on a busy Sunday morning. Overall seems like an ok stop For breakfast, next time I will go for the pancakes or an omlette.

This place is fantastic. Such a small«towney» feel, which is it’s charm. Food is great; creative, flavorful and top notch execution. Omelets are light, fluffy and never overdone. Wait staff are the best, they take the time to ask your name and call out to you when you come in like you are«Norm from Cheers.» For a busy place, they remain attentive and you can tell they run the place like a family. My wife and I found this place last year and have become quite regular, never have had an experience that is anything less than great.

This was our first time trying out this diner and we are glad we did, the people and environment is really nice. The food was delicious. We came here for my son 15 birthday he got the steak and eggs cooked very well and tasty. I had the veggie Omelette it was good. My hubby got the southern sausage and gravy it looked awesome and it tasted great! Will definately be back again with my daughter

Found this place a few months back on my way home to long island from maine, and i have to say it was probably the best breakfast i ever had. My friends and i ordered a bunch of stuff and shared it all and EVERYTHING was so delicious, and all for a great price. I just spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out the name so i can stop there again next time i go that way.

Cozy place to have breakfast. Best tries are smoked pork shoulder omelet and Raffi’s plate. The apple crisp French toast is also a must. Very good prices for a meal.

Friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Quick service. Reasonable prices. Clean. Almost cold coffee and food. Food taste just eh. Being below room temperature did not help. Disappointed. Although service was worth at least four stars I mainly go for the food and you should automatically get decent service and it should be a no brainier for a clean eating establishment. So due to the food barely palpable it will get low marks from me. Nothing to warrant another try.

Excellent breakfast place! We were looking to make a quick stop on our way home from vacation for breakfast. Huge variety of breakfast offerings and meats, friendly wait staff, and reasonable prices! The food was delicious! Bonus: I was able to replace toast with cornbread. I received a large slab of warm, tasty, moist cornbread with my breakfast!

Just had a late breakfast around 10:30. This place is delicious! Restaurant is nice and clean and there’s a good amount of seating it’s not too small. The staff is unbelievably friendly. I had the smoke shoulder with home fries and homemade cornbread, it was amazing! My wife had two eggs over hard with home fries toast and bacon she loved it. The portions were generous and the prices are reasonable. Would be back in a heartbeat!

The place is cozy. Service is friendly. Food is normal. The pouched eggs were almost like hard boiled. The French toast lack some cinnamon and may be vanilla.

Great omelets, awesome service, unpretentious, unlike so many«gourmet» breakfast joints. Try the smoked shoulder omelet, you won’t regret it.

Best breakfast in town! All the food is great but my two favorites are the smoked shoulder omelette and the eggnog French toast. The staff is awesome and it’s always a friendly atmosphere.

Not a fan. Food was very salty. Staff was fine. I guess it just felt a bit sleazy to me. My two year old kept pointing out flies lol good times…

Fantastic breakfast place. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, clean and most importantly great food. Had one of their hash specials(smoked shoulder) which did not disappoint. Also their fresh made cornbread. Next time will take a pic of their food. All I can show now is an empty plate…

The best breakfast around! They always have the best specials, and tons of omelets filled with different meats and cheeses. My husband loves the smoked shoulder omelet. It’s the only breakfast joint I have yet to find in Haverhill that has Belgian waffles, and any place that has cornbread as a side is OK in my book. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently good. Definitely worth the wait for a table!

I had such high hopes reading all the reviews — good breakfast, locals, small business — but sadly I can not give it more than 3 stars. The challah thick french toast was really yummy and all I had expected. I, unfortunately, got the strawberries on top sans whip cream. Oh no, not fresh cut lovely strawberries but strawberries in syrup just swimming all over my french toast. My bad for not asking if it was fresh or not but every place that I go to that I love has fresh strawberries and cream. Why would you ruin this syrup? Lesson learned. The place was not busy but the waitress seemed like she was overworked — I think refills on coffee is a no-brainer. Also, trying to get her attention to get change and a bill was difficult. Sadly, this will not be on my breakfast rotation list.

I finally made it to Raff’s Café, and I am so glad I did! This diner is great! Love the menu, as it is right up my alley, typical American diner menu with a twist. The turkey hash hit the spot. It was so good. The coffee was rich and strong, and the pancakes are as big as hubcaps. Pot roast omlet? Check. . A real lite menu for healthy eating is also available and it is much more than a fruit cup and oatmeal. Some real thought has gone into all the food and menus. I have a feeling this will be our new go to spot for Sunday breakfast.

I decided to check out Raff’s Café for Sunday breakfast, which is located in a small strip plaza(Romano’s Pizza at the other end). This café is very welcoming with counter seating and table & booth seating packed close together in the cozy dining room. It’s seat yourself. There’s a small TV in the corner. The place has been open for almost 9 months(as of Nov 14th) and seems to have a loyal clientele with the staff addressing customers by first name. The menu offers the typical breakfast fare(including eggs, omelets, home fries, pancakes, and waffles), sandwiches, soups, soups, desserts, and several daily specials. Fresh ground New England Coffee is brewed here. The prices are reasonable(under $ 10) and seniors get 10 percent off. During the weekdays, they offer lunch meal deals for $ 7.99-$ 8.99 which includes entrée, soup, & dessert: pot roast(Mon), baked stuffed pork chop(Tue), American chop suey(Wed), boiled ham dinner(Thu), and baked haddock(Fri). Homemade turkey hash, ham hash, and corn bread are offered. Some of the omelets sounded interesting including pepperoni pizza, shaved steak & cheese, chicken cordon blue, pastrami & cheese, and asparagus & cheese topped with hollandaise sauce. Limited lunch offerings on weekends(sandwiches). I was offered coffee($ 1.50) as soon as I took a seat. I decided on a the special Artichoke Heart Omelet($ 7.25) with egg whites(optional) served with homefries and toast and orange garnish. The egg white omelet was very interesting and had lots of artichoke hearts, black olives, tomatoes, with some ham, and pepper jack. The omelet was supposed to have bacon and roasted red peppers, but ham and tomatoes were substituted? Nonetheless, still very tasty. The home fries were grilled and very good. The service was very attentive with frequent refills on coffee including the pumpkin spice coffee which was amazing. I was stuffed. HOURS: Mon-Fri: 6 – 2; Sat-Sun: 6 – 1
