Would give it zero if possible. Incredibly rude when asking for delivery. Made it seem like I was imposing on them by giving them my business. The man on the phone had an attitude throughout the whole exchange. To top it all off the food took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive, soggy mushy and cold… Not the old sparks, not worth it…

Really nice guys that work there. The menu is pretty big and had a lot of options. I didn’t know they did burgers and sandwiches too. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries and for around $ 7.50 the portions were big. Good food at an affordable price. The PB$J wings are a must try.
They also deliver, which I didn’t know either. I ate in. I’ll try the Salem location next.

they always hook you up with large portions! the quality of the chicken is legit. i love the variety of flavor and hot options. menu easy to read and provides good descriptions of all their flavors.

This is also for the Salem location. Sparky’s is LEGIT. My husband and I have tried several flavors of their wings (Hot Rod, Firecracker, PB&J, Bayou Dry Rub) and each one was outta sight delicious. The spicy ratings don’t lie (which we love); they pack good heat. The M80’s are habanero peppers stuffed with chorizo and fried and OH MY GOD they hurt so good. If you can stand the heat and love an endorphin rush, try them. Sparky’s delivers and they are fast and friendly. Awesome staff! Hands down best wings we’ve had in New England, and we’ll be hitting them up often.

Today I came in in the mood to try sparkys burgers and I’m glad I did. I had the black and Bleu burger cooked medium of course. Burger tasted amazing packed with flavor. Give a try you won’t be disappointed.

The boneless wings here are awesome! There are so many flavors to choose from, but if you’re having trouble deciding, try the Teradactyl wings– the sauce is a mix of teriyaki and Buffalo and is probably my favorite here. I haven’t found any better place for wings around here, and it’s way better than the stuff you’ll get at any Buffalo wild wings.

This place isn’t too far from where I live and I was looking for something different for dinner tonight, so I called in an order for pickup and walked over. The first thing that hit me was the musty smell of the place. I have asthma so I can smell mold very easily. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Didn’t matter — I wasn’t staying. I paid, got my order and left. The staff was pleasant enough. Now on to the food. Extremely disappointing. I ordered regular buffalo wings and teriyaki boneless wings. The buffalo wings were freezer burned. You can tell by the white blotches on the chicken skin. Secondly, they were swimming in buffalo sauce, which means the skin will be rubbery from sitting in the sauce, and they were. There were a few that weren’t freezer burned that I felt safe eating, and they were way overcooked and dry. The boneless teriyaki were also swimming in sauce. And they used a teriyaki glaze, which is concentrated, so it was overpowering and extremely salty. The orders also came with macaroni salad that was tasteless and bland. I also ordered fries. They were ok. Not much to say about them. As others have noted, the prices are high for a wing joint. It’s pretty bad when the fries are the best part of a meal. I won’t be back.

I really wanted to like this place. The food was pretty great, so was the dive wing-​place atmosphere. However, going 2 stars due to the content they have on the TV. It was some cable TMZ-​like show where someone was dragging around a nude (but pixellated) woman by her hair while on-​screen men laughed and laughed. As did some of the patrons on the viewing end in this place.
This was pretty demeaning to my wife and young daughter who were with me. I had to ask them to change it, which they did and which was nice of the guy behind the counter. But it just really put a bad taste in our mouth. Unfortunately we probably won’t come back here as a family, if at all.

Wow this place has really gone downhill. This was my first time ordering food here since new management had taken over. The wings used to be unreal but now they are less than mediocre. First I called and they said they didn’t have a delivery driver which should’ve been the first red flag. Since I remember the wings being so good, I decided to just pick them up. The wings were overcooked and mostly batter. The state of the wings was really sad. AND let’s not forget the fact that a 10 piece boneless was $ 19!!! What a joke! Save your money please!!!

Such delicious wings! We try a new flavor almost every time we go. The staff there are courteous and friendly, and our order is always cooked quickly and ready for us when we get there.
I took a star off because whenever they close for a holiday or extended period of time, they don’t post anything about in on social channels or even their website. If you call down to order it will just ring and ring — I actually had to rely on other posters to say that the location was closed for the weekend to know for sure that they weren’t just busy and unable to answer the phone. The take-​out menu is hard to read (red printed on red) to see what is spicy and what is not. Small gripes that can be very easily fixed. Will definitely be back for more.

Gross! Wings were over cooked and dry. I ordered 4 different kinds of wings, when I got home 2 orders had no sauce on them and the other 2 orders were ice cold. Don’t waste your money, place is a dump too!

I love their wings and all the different sauces! Whenever I order from here I can always find something I am in the mood for. I recommend trying to change it up and try new things because trust me PB &J wings sounded gross until I tried them!

I’ve been here twice, first trying wings and the second time I ordered a chicken sandwich (can’t remember the full name of it)
Honestly fell in love with their wings, I had BBQ and to find quality wings are hard to find around here.
I chose 3 starts for the fact that it’s overpriced, and you could go to a ton of places and get double the amount of food for what you pay at Sparkys. it kinda ticked me off when I ordered the Chicken sandwich and it doesn’t even come with a side, like fries and still totaling around $ 7.00. Most or yet all places will provided that, if it wasn’t the price (a dollar or more per wing) I’d be here everyday and I’m sure many others would too!
But as far as taste, great wings.

This review is not about the quality of their food, but about the quality of service. The bearded gentlemen who helped us was incredibly rude. Forget the fact that he seemed annoyed by the fact that he «had» to take our order, he told someone in our party that if they wanted tap water they would have to get it from the bathroom. In the end, we cancelled our order and walked out because people like that do not deserve any business. Just a piece of advice, you should learn how to treat customers with respect because before you know it you might not have any.

Where the frak is my food, man? An hour and half wait only to be told the driver is MIA, but it’s ready to go. How ready? Am I paying extra money for vintage chicken? How did the chicken cross the road… Sparky’s wouldn’t ‘effin know.

Since the change in ownership, they’ve gone downhill. Delivery is slow, driver often doesn’t have change. We have waited 90 minutes and more for delivery. Sauces are skimpy. Phone service has been rude. We loved this place for a long time and it’s a shame that we can’t rely on the same quality and service we have come to expect. Our days of ordering Sparky’s are, sadly, coming to an end.

The list of sauces is exhaustive! So many to choose from it’s hard to settle on just one! The wings themselves are mediocre, overcooked and not much meat on them. I love the buffalo sauce cheese sticks, they are fantastic!

A little better than average chicken wings. Definetely overpriced. Shouldn’t be $ 19 and change for 15 wings and a drink. I had teryaki and hickory bbq, tasted good, but not amazed or blown away like some ppl say. If youve ever had Wings Over…(insert town name, Ex. Wings over Worcester) you would know that these are NOT the best wings in MA. Doesnt seem like there are many other options around though. I will keep looking before i settle on this being my usual wing spot, especially cuz of $. Service was fine, no complaints there, i ate in.

HUGE selection of sauces for wings. Have other things on the menu.
Seating is very limited, you order at a counter and it’s basic. But the wings were great — I got the PB&J — it was thai peanut sauce and a spicy raspberry sauce. Really good.
Owner was very friendly once we got to talking.
