Veterans Memorial Skating Rink

The entrance way through the HHS parking lot is under construction. You’ll have to go up by the pool to get to the rink, can’t get there through the lot.
There’s really no one supervising this place. The guy, who I think was in charge, was M.I.A. a lot. My friends and I had to go searching for him to rent some skates and pay the skating time fee. Skating and renting skates costs $ 7.
And, okay… so if you own a pair of ice skates, you’ll have no problem here. But it was my first time ice skating, so I rented a pair. They have few skates available for each size (they have ever fewer half sizes). And the skates were likely older than myself and would have been a more durable pair if I had McGyvered my own skates from Saran plastic wrap and two butter knives.
