If you’re looking for or in the mood for Dominican cake or pastries, look no further. Nestled in the small quaint village of Haverstraw, you’ll find one of the most satisfying places where scrumptious delicacies are baked and served up daily.
Their large assortment of cakes and sweets are enough to make your mouth water as soon as you walk in. Cakes are sold by the piece as well! Dulce de leche and pineapple filling are my favorites.
Dominican breads and various types of meat or cheese filled empanadas round out the menu and are equally tasty too.
The portion or piece servings are large and unexpectedly inexpensive for the amount you’re buying. It’s become almost a weekly tradition to trek on down to Vilma’s and bring back home an assortment of goodies.
If you’re in the area, stop on by and you’ll be glad you did and become a longtime customer as we are.
