I recently worked with Dez and his crew on a kitchen remodel. Very professional and great craftsmanship. I would recommend him and his crew to any of my friends and family.

We recently purchased a home in Drexel Hill and had the window of opportunity to complete a few renovations before we moved in. I had interviewed several contractors for the work and felt most comfortable with Desmond. He was the only contractor that took pictures during the estimate walk through, spent time with conversation to understand the scope of work, level of finishes, and the time frame that I was comfortable with.
After I had received a few different bids I called him back and talked about what could be removed to fit within my target budget. Yet again he was the only contractor that was willing to put in the front end effort of working towards a price that made me feel comfortable in going forward.
After we had contracted, Desmond kept in touch with me almost daily via phone or text message for questions, pictures, or to discuss the upcoming week’s timeline. The sub-​contractors that he hired for specialty work did a fantastic job as well. Having met a few myself they were all friendly, clean cut, and hard working people.
For reference; here is the type of work that Desmond and his team were able to accomplish within 5 weeks time:
— FULLY demolished our full bathroom down to studs and joists. Sistered new joists and studs into place, replaced all of the plumbing, electrical, fixtures, sub flooring, etc.
— Removed, repaired and/​or replaced a significant amount of wood detail work in our house. He was able to match what was original to the house.
— Installed new drywall ceilings cracking plaster ceilings. His team also patched existing plaster walls and ceilings that showed signs of settlement cracks and holes from previous duct diffusers.
— Refinished our wood floors.
— Installed a new attic fan
— Installed blocking in all of our bedroom ceilings so that we could install our own ceiling fans
I would recommend Desmond and his sub contractors to anyone looking for home renovation work that wants an honest, fairly priced, and reasonable team. Thank you again Desmond; we’re enjoying everything you did for us!
