Young’s Produce

There is a $ 10 credit card limit, which had me leaving to drive to the new Acme. I was even going to spend the $ 3.79 on the can of black beans, hesitantly. Now I remember why this isn’t my go to produce place or quick run to the store.

There is something to say when someone has pride in what they do. Such can be said of the business owners of youngs produce. When you walk in, it isn’t super fancy. But it is CLEAN. Their produce is high quality, noticeably better than what you get at the normal grocery store. I believe the owner was the woman who rung me up said after I brought up the Brooklyn bread said «you like these? This the first shipment today!»
Her little shop is stocked with some of my favorite European brands of chocolate and other good things. Overall this store is a great place to stop in for.

Today was my first time stopping at Young’s. I thought the selection of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, hummus, and snacks was quite good, everything seemed fresh, and the prices were far better than what I would have paid at the supermarket. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough, but I didn’t notice any organic fruits or vegetables, which I do like to buy from time to time. Despite this, I made a fantastic salad with my purchases and I’m looking forward to my next visit there. I highly recommend Young’s!

Very happy to find this place. Produce is consistently good and I have found that it seems to be offered at lesser cost than the local Super Fresh.

If you are looking for great produce at a steal you are in the right place!
This is a family run place that houses some of the freshest produce. You can buy any quantity you want from one bunch to ten. This is by far the best around, the greenest, and the most flavorful.
No need to shop at the supermarket for produce any longer. Come here for any produce and you will be much more satisfied!

Best place in Havertown to buy your produce. If you are shopping down the street at Super fresh, drive two minutes and come here for the green stuff. Clean, fresh product, good prices and a roomy parking lot. We go here for regular quantities of produce. If you need larger volumes make the trip to Produce Junction for the quantity pricing.

This is my favorite place to buy produce in Havertown. The quality is invariably higher than that of the local supermarkets and the prices are always reasonable. It is impeccably clean. Aside from their high quality produce, they offer a limited selection of cheese, eggs, canned goods and bulk nuts and dried fruit. In the summer, they also have a small selection of annuals and herbs. And if you are too lazy to cut a pineapple like I am, or hate dealing with an unwieldy watermelon, they have pre-​cut fruit in lovely plastic containers — no mess, no sticky fingers and no stabbing yourself with pineapple tops or wrestling to get your melon to share space with the rest of your refrigerated goods.

My grandmom used to go here regligously back in the days they used to be on the corner where «charlies» is. This place is doing quite well for themselves and does provide decent produce in the area. I stopped in to get some peppers the other day for some sausage and peppers and found the store to be surprisingly crowded and stocked full of goodies.
I highly recommend here if you’re tired of the produce at your local supermarket but beware this is not an organic produce world this is simply cheap produce at a good price.

youngs produce is a friendly store where the fruits and vegetables are always fresh and delicious. it’s a great neighborhood place, and i would recommend it to all health conscious folks in the area. the staff is friendly and helpful… joel
