One of the best spots to grab some delicious snacks. Their selection is amazing and not to mention the price is super affordable. Whether it’s a mixed fruit cup or bionicos or their sandwiches. This place is the best! One of the best hidden jewels of Hawaiian gardens. It is a must try!

I stopped here after a really disappointing meal because I thought a chamango would be a fresh, tangy way to cheer up my tastebuds. When I ordered, the lady said they were out of mango ice cream, to which I thought, ‘so? There’s no ice cream in a chamango.’ But apparently here there is, so I let her do her thing and substitute tamarind ice cream. Usually, in my experience, a chamango is a mango smoothie with chamoy swirled in and a chili straw. Sometimes mango chunks, too. Right? Not here. It’s scoops of ice cream(normally mango, today tamarind) with syrupy chamoy poured over the top and mango slices and chili powder sprinkled as a finisher. Same chili straw, though. I still liked it, although the ratio of ice cream to chamoy was too low. When it started melting it was like drinking syrup.

A hole in the wall with amazing fruit juices, smoothies, chamangos(with real Mexican style ice cream and not a raspado wannabe chamango), raspados, diablitos, tostilocos, bionicos, platanos fritos with crema, fresas con crema and lots of other goodies. They also have sandwiches, tortas, and other foods but I haven’t try that. Been here a few times for fresh juices, Agua frescas, bionicos, and chamangos and have not been disappointed. The service is good. Place looks clean. Easily missed since it’s right in the corner and small. Always parking on side street and front of store.

Fried Bananas is clean, fresh and yummy! Ordered the mixed fruit, acai and some chicken tamales to go. We went near closing and they cut our fruit FRESH. I personally like the way they cut the fruit in strips VS big ol chunks like most places. The acai isn’t on their menu, but I saw a pic that another Unilocaler had posted. It was so good. They put topping goodies on the bottom and top. I wish I would have ordered more tamales, so delicious.

Been here a few times and I absolutely love it! Very friendly staff and I really liked the fresh juice drinks! The juices are always fresh and never watered down. The place is also kept very clean! Now that the kitchen open I look forward to trying the hot food next time I’m in the area!

It’s so funny to see OBVIOUS competitors giving this place a poor rating. Hmmmm, all 5 stars and ONE claims their order tastes like chemicals. No, you’re not obvious at all. *thumbs up* Fresh fruit on the daily! Love this place! Super clean and comfortable with outside seating… Their kitchen recently opened so I can’t wait to try their food! I’ll follow up with a review ;)

I just stopped by to pick up some«pico de gallo» — which, according to the menu comes with watermelon, mango, jicama, cucumber, and pineapple — and an agua de melon(cantaloupe). First, the lady poured me an agua de fresa(strawberry), and tried to pass it off as cantaloupe before she admitted they were out of cantaloupe. Second, when I got home and tasted the fruit, the jicama tasted old or like it had touched a cleaning product, and I realized they didn’t put pineapple in it all. Also, they took 25 minutes just to cut up the fruit and give me the wrong drink. Needless to say, I’m not coming back. There are several bionics places in the vicinity with more, higher reviews anyway. Save yourself the trip.

Found my new spot for Bionicos, desserts and Ecuadorean food. This place is AMAZING! They also make great sandwiches, using fresh ingredients. The bionicos are amazing this was my second time trying one but I had never had one like that before. I was so hungry but it was too late for lunch and I had dinner already in the crock pot so I was really looking for a snack. I’m glad I stopped in. The owner is really sweet and her staff knew how to explain my options. Since then, I’ve gone back time and time again. I even refer complete strangers when I hear them asking about bionicos. I sometimes have meeting at a nearby Starbucks but I think I found a better meeting spot. The owner, Maricela, is from Ecuador and she can also do some traditional Ecuadorean plates by order. I order a whole«pierna» for a party and OMG it was absolutely amazing!
