I found Josh on craigslist and was initially pleased — his rate was good, and he spoke English. He seemed to know what he was talking about. However, not even a month after I started service, I returned back from a 2 week vacation, and my pool was in terrible shape: the water was green and it had not been cleaned. He did not reply the 2 voicemails that I left him. Finally he returned my text saying that he can no longer take care of my pool due to a medical condition. That’s fine if he can’t take care of the pool due to an alleged medical condition — however its common decency to let the customer know that though so they can make alternate arrangements. He had no issues promptly cashing the check that I had sent him earlier.
