Was there again this week for dinner. Outstanding. Fresh sides, breaded pork chops I can cut with a fork.

Wednesday nights at Lukan’s are a true Thanksgiving warm-​up with their famous Roasted Turkey Dinner that includes all the trimmings. Start with a beverage (freshly-​made iced tea & lemonade, et al), hot, fresh-​baked rolls, soup, then salad… followed by mashed potatoes, green beans, and plenty of sliced turkey (white and/​or dark meat… your call) homemade stuffing and gravy. Always served family style, the platters are always replenished when they start to get low. Wrap it all with a brownie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Simple, no frills perfection. Lukan’s is an immaculate, friendly and efficient family restaurant with very good food (and plenty of it). Their warm, stealth/​fast, and courteous service (John is a mind reader) makes this family-​owned operation a long-​standing Lake Region favorite. Dinner seating begins at 6pm sharp and reservations are a must. Their limited, preset menu serves-​up a different family style dinners nightly like NY Strips on Saturday, Corned Beef on Sunday, Pork Loin on Tuesday, etc. Most prices are from $ 19.50 to $ 24 per person ($ 28 for the NY Strip) and kids under 12 are half price. Last night I had dinner here and it was one of the best experiences at a restaurant. To start off the service was great because our waiter always refilled our glasses and platters. It was as if he could read our mind. Second the food came out hot and very good. Like I should of said earlier I went to the roast turkey dinner. It was served with of course roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green beans, salad, vegetable soup, and for dessert brownies and ice cream. Over all my experience at Lukan’s was great!
