Haworth Racquet Club

This place is comparable to the Tenafly Racquet club (that was renovated a few years back). They courts are nice and they have a few good instructors renting their facilities here.
Just to let you know that neither my Verizon or ATT wireless phones connection get a good reception. You will miss calls and have trouble getting a call out or getting onto internet /​data feed.

Just played this neat and interesting track. Didn’t even know it existed until I was invited as a guest and now I look forward to playing it again. I liked the layout and especially the greens and greens complexes. Undulations that were challenging but never gimmicky. Many elevated yet good sight lines. And quite good bunkering all the way ’round. Water in the area for many of the holes including green side water on the first hole where the approach and the green form something of a peninsula. That makes for a challenging shot whether going for it in two on this par five or in three after working two well placed shots down the fairway.
Nicely greeted upon arrival as our bags were taken from the car and set up on a cart for our round. Delicious breakfast buffet to satisfy early morning appetites. And off we went. Ample sized putting green behind the clubhouse to prepare for what was to come.
I understand the greens newly re established in the last year or so, and let me say they were in excellent shape. Few noticeable ball marks and rolling true with consistent pace.
Most importantly? Pace of play was excellent. Members I met were welcoming and friendly.
Dont miss a chance to test your game out here in a setting that is all golf and where there are surprisingly very few houses in sight from anywhere on the course.
